I usually do not comment on Virain Vadera because the character does not interest me much. It is way too nice to be believable to me. However, I must remark on what I have noted about the actor – Karan Tacker.
Do note that it is not that Karan Tacker is not essaying the role well enough; he is; the problem is that the type of setting for the character and its background do not lend itself to credulity to me when I try to make a 'real-life' connection.

Karan Tacker is quite a good actor. I have seen him effortlessly spout long, emotional dialogues with just the right expression and just the right body movements to lend it credence.
I believe I made a mention of this in some post remarking on his acting chops in the 'drunk' scene pre-wedding. It was executed exceedingly well, even better than – gasp! – Amitabh Bachchan in similar scenes. (sacrilege, I know!😉)

But what I do want to comment upon are the scenes where it is not particularly emotional, yet his words, the way he delivers his dialogues stick with me as completely natural, i.e. can easily translate to real life.
For example:

"Suhee ja ruha hai, Viraat."
"Khaandaan ka naam khoob raushun karega, bayta."
"Mai(n) daykh loonga toojjh-ko Viraat!"

Note the silent enjoyment in his eyes for his brother's predicament and tone of teasing in his voice as he states such dialogues, or even the exasperation yet loving acceptance that comes across so clearly.

People have commented many times that Kushaal Tandon's forte is light-hearted/joking scenes. I beg to differ. He totally comes across as over-doing it and unbelievable to me. In fact, Kushaal Tandon does comparatively better with serious scenes.

Karan Tacker, on the other hand, has yet to really disappoint me in the acting arena. The only caution I would suggest would be in the dramatic scenes. Occasionally he tends to go the melodrama way and then it becomes overdone. If he restrained himself just the tiniest bit, it would be a stellar performance.

Unlike for Kushaal Tandon, where I gave a big hint for the type of acting style he might employ to better his skills:

https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/post/58017911

… I would not suggest that for Karan Tacker. He is a natural at this, and more practice, i.e. more shows and roles, is the only thing on the menu.

Keep up the good work, Karan Tacker.

I watched tacker in love ne; and there were sometimes in the beginning where i felt he could have improved and by the end of love ne i thought he had mastered the art of acting amazingly well! never once while watching him in odhani did i think he could have done a scene better coz he was always just so brilliant and his portrayal of shaan was just perfect; be it commedy, romance or then the intense scenes! coming to ek hazaaron the dude just makes me fall in love with him over and over again; no one in my opinion could have done this role better than him...infact what i usually think is 'viren vadera' would probably not even have been much loved and so popular had it not been for tacker and the same would then go for virika! have loved the guy in every scene; be it when he gets drunk, other commedy scenes, his goofy scenes, romantic scenes, jeeju saali scenes; the dude is just beyond amazinggg😍

Yes, he does appear to be always want to learn more... a hallmark of a person who most likely will achieve a lot. It also does not hurt that he seems to take to acting quite naturally.

I have not seen any of Karan Tacker's other shows, so it is good to hear that he was once green behind the ears, too!

However the character is written - and I am not a fan of the character - I must say that he is doing full justice to it.
If he is so good in his third (?) show, then other newbies ought to hold on to hope and work hard... there's light ahead!
