But that is not Ravjot's fault. According to IF COC, any comparison topics are not allowed because eventually, they have the potential to lead to fights. And topics with a bunch of pictures clutters the forum. The Picture Gallery is already hard to look through because of the loading, so adding comments will just add mess to the topic. And when someone starts bashing a character, another person will start bashing the actor. It happens. Ravjot is trying to give some leeway so instead of criticizing, I think it is best for all who visit the PV forum to thank her. Not all DT members are so permissive.Originally posted by: ReemaRani
To Ravjot:
Dearest Ravjot,
I'm sure you're trying to do your job as best as you can, but I'm really really sorry I couldn't help myself so I had to write this post. I've been feeling this way for a long time and after seeing this post I was very hurt. This is one of the main reasons I have stopped being active on this forum and am not as active as I really really wished to be. I have never in my life seen a show's forum so moderated and so restricted as to what people want to express and talk about. It really hurts me from the bottom of my heart. There are so many times I am tempted to create a new topic and discuss things because I LOVE this show but alas, I always stop because I know in one way or another it always has the potential to be locked.
I too have noticed that picture topics have been created a lot lately, but as I'm sure we all know, the picture gallery does not allow comments and most people, myself included, absolutely love to comment on pictures of Kratika, Guru, or just anyone in the show as most of the time they look absolutely stunning and also because we love them and we want to express our feelings! Over the years, we all have watched different shows and have our own opinions and yes, we should definitely NOT bash anyone or say anything hurtful. But I think closing a topic that just asks 'who do you like better, person A or person B from the show" does not mean any harm, especially to the individual people that are playing them. When someone states this, it means the character. Now, I personally don't like Gayatri at all. But that doesn' t mean I hate the woman in real life, na? I love her in real life. I think she's a fab actress. Khair, that's just how I feel. ðŸ˜
