Meera is in news more for personal reasons rather than professional ones. This time, the Pakistani actress has commented on top actresses of Bollywood. Let's check out the details.

Are your remarks on Bollywood actresses a publicity stunt?
No, I don't do things for publicity. I always say things that I mean. My statements about Bollywood actresses were based on observations. I really felt that I am in no way less than even the most successful actresses of the industry. In what aspects am I behind them? I am younger, more beautiful and more talented than these so-called successful actresses of Bollywood.

But if you are worth it, why did you fail to click here?
Besides Mahesh Bhattji and a few others, lots of producers and directors didn't trust my capability and talent. My film Nazar didn't do well and this led to the conclusion that I am not a good actress but let me tell you that Nazar was a good film and it didn't do well because of me. On the contrary, my acting was very much appreciated and I earned recognition too. Even that time lots of producers and directors promised me a film but nothing really materialized later.

What do you think went wrong?
I realized that Bollywood is full of people who have double standards in life. They say something else and do just the opposite. It's an industry full of mediocre people. Those who promised me a film backed out later on. People have betrayed my trust. I am here only for a special purpose that I don't want to reveal at this moment.

But what made you conclude that you can be a Madhuri Dixit of the Indian film industry?
I want to become Madhuri Dixit and I think I have got the right kind of talent for that. I am playing the character of Madhuri Dixit in the Pakistani remake of Devdas. I feel that I can do it successfully.

I think Meera cant be Madhuri Dixit. Meera is at the start of the race and Madhuri is already done. She is so self centered... I dont think she would do a good job. Anyways, Good Luck Meera.
