Alright! Got a few and here's my take!
1. South Indians (especially Tamilians) shown as hyperactive bobble-head dolls. With actors such as Mehmood and Mukri, Tamilians have been shown to be very staunch to their ideologies, yet very comical in nature. And not to forget the oil dripping from their heads, with a mark of a Vishnu in white. I have known a lot of modern-day Tamilians, whose grandparents were even more modernized. And mind it, ALL South Indians are Tamilians (Keralites, Kannadigas, and Telugus alike!)
2. I agree with the Christian family stereotype. With long skirts and pinafores and a huge cross hanging down the cleavage, Christian women were seen as an epitome of westernized culture in India. And of course, not to forget certain things associated with the Goan/Manglorean Christian side of the stereotype - Cakes, wine, "Kya, man?" "What, man?" big 70s-80s style shades, and Mummy (with a British accent).
3. The female antagonist or the vamp always had a peculiar name that would make her stand out from the rest of the lot. Names like Suzie, Maria, Shabnam, Jwala, etc had to be none other than the vamp.
4. The servants were either Ramu, Ram Dayal, Deenanath, or some other name within the same lines.
5. The children were either Bubloo, Pinky, Guddi, Munni, Bunty, or some others within the same lines.
Gotta rush now.. Will add more!
