What sort of double standard message is that? The Mother lied and manipulated her Son and she reprimands the young Son for telling her like it is?? Ridiculous!

I wish someone from India can answer this question for me? I agree with respect for one's elders etc, which is ingrained in good culture but is there no reciprocation?
