Thank you for giving us a wonderful show. The concept, the characterization, the whole of final product of IPK is an amazing work of art. It's become an integral part of our lives and the credit...goes entirely to YOU the Cvs. No one's denying that. You must be proud of yourselves for creating such a brilliant master piece to have such an ardently passionate fan base.

My only advice is stick to what you have been doing since the beggining. Don't deviate from your original plan. This is your baby. try not to be influenced by fan insistense or outside forces. Tell the story as you want to, not as how fans want.

Try not to fall into mindless comedy as a substitute for lack of material. This show is being watched not only by people in their teens or the 'yo' crowd. I think you have a very wrong perception about the demographic of the viewers. maybe that's where the problem is. I think it might be a good idea to start your product planning from the basics.

Most of the viewership is middle aged women who juggle work, family and their everyday lives in a hectic schedule. They dont have time to watch nonsensial displays of comic acts or pimping of male leads assests. No we dont enjoy them. Might be fun one time. But when its displayed every freaking episode for no reason, we get tired. Having IPL is not an excuse for mediocre content. We look for quality in your Product. when we dont find it there, we move on.

The story promises us a passionate love story. Thats our expectation. Allmost all the movies that hit box office records in B-wood are revolved around passionate love stories. And all ages enjoy them. I don't buy the premise that this is not very star-plus show material . You have seen many contradictory instances. TRPs were sky rocketeing earlier this year due to the brief romance track. So deliver it as you had delievered before.

either way I hope your creative team, coupled with the star-plus product planing and marketing teams are getting together in retracing steps of the past few months to come up with stratergies for the betterment of the show.

Well...do agree with you that when the tracks work the actors do get more appreciation than the ones that work behind camera and when it does not then the ones behind the camera get bashed. And that is not right.

But, don't tell us to watch Amir's show. Leave then onto us. Do not agree with on that.

We did put up with 3 months of mindless comedy with absolutely no movement in the storyline.

Just don't be sad because you get bashed...you should be happy too that we care so much about something you created.

Thank you Thank You and Thank you. We now know what this show means to you and you dont take things lightly. When we blame something its because we love this show. Your child gets reprimanded the most because you want it to be on correct path and you never do it to your neighbors kid. We blame PH, actors and CVs if we if things are going haywire. Please try to understand us. We have thousand different things going on in our life and thousand different options for mere entertainment value. But for the love for this show we take our personal time and discuss it and analyse it and dissect it. Its give and take policy here. We give same amount of love and criticism. We are all educated enough to know that its just not Barun and Sanaya and its team work. Trust me. We all know that.

When you gave us continuous duds, we had to tell you its not working. Who else will tell you then us ? Something were so off the track that it surprised us that its coming from OUR IPK team. The IPK team we are so proud off and gloat about every where. Be it in a party or just a get together,we make it a point to mention what an amazing team it is.Take please try to understand from viewers perspective also.

Your point about not acknowledging the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to deliver the complete package is well-taken. Why aren't awards given for editing, screenplay, dialogues, cinematography and direction at the SPA or other Telly awards? (or if they are, I may have missed them!) They deserve as much kudos as the actors and producers.

Stop being such a cry baby and do your job Mr.Hegde. We like your show. Actually, we love your show. And if you want bouquets instead of brickbats...let me hand you one. You have written very well since your lead actor has been on vacay.

Please know that the fans who left the show just because Barun was doing a movie are not real fans. They are not to be called IPKKND fans or loyal fans.

Majority of us still watch this show. I, for one do still. And I'm loving it. You are right. It's not just Barun or Sanaya it's the entire team.

After watching that behind the scenes telly tadka video I realized how much effort goes into just one scene and not just by SaRun but by every member of this team. You guys write 5 hours worth of content, that's about two movies. Amazing! Please know we truly appreciate the efforts you put into this show but we praise SaRun the most becasue that is who we see onscreen the most and they are the leads. We do praise the CVs as well maybe not as much, but you are truly appreciated.

I don't think Barun and Sanaya would be where they are had it not been for the success of this show, which you all are responsible for. Their ability to act and talent is incomparable and truly undeniable. But the story is in your hands, and you will play it out the way you want to. Of course, some of the "bashing" is really constructive critism and it may come out as unappreciative but at the end of the day, we do really care and love this show. People on this forum wouldn't analyze every scene to such an extent had they not loved this show.

We appreciate SaRun, the entire team and ofcourse you for an awesome show! It went through a major downfall, there is no denying that but you are picking up so please continue.

He's just BEING an ... whatever.. I doubt they read anything because then the post would be about fixing things, not telling audience not to give their opinions. GH, here is the thing; remember Teri meri? 4.2 trps? Remember those glorious moments? Remember when we like in the top 3? Now, we have Mrs.Kaushikki whatever show higher than WE ARE! We have got SNS and other crap shows ahead of us. Do you know how it feels when you watch your show - favorite show and you see a 9 year old kid being J of her friend and doing crappy stuff, when mama comes - the masala one cause the real one is missing and you see basically - every character gone haywire.. GH, remember Khushi in the accident promo -where the hell is that? How can Khushi be scared of Shaym? How can she tolerate him touching her and all? Why did she go so dumb? When Arnav mandandles her, it's like Oh teri and when it's Shaym, it's like leave me like some bechari? Anjali didn't care when Arnav wasn't missing and then 3 days later - she's like omg he's missing. From his voice - anjali does not figure out he's in danger? How the hell is that possible? What is WRONG WITH ALL OUR CHARACTERS? pLease go and watch the show from the beginning -= okay, the show is missing it's link. and how the hell is the tagline even included anymore?

Mr Hegde,

Do I hear a tinge of condescending and a whole lot of defensive in there...thank you for letting us know how "our entertainement" works behind the screens...I really did think it was Barun and Sanaya that did it all ...like act and make it appear magically on screen...

So you aim for a larger older demographic than the yo...an who may that be...oh your calling on me or do I have to have silver hair and know a thing or two in the kitchen to qualify...

I am not sure that you have identified you audience and your vascillating story show's as much...

I get it 51/2 hrs worth of story in a week shot day in and out with all the many unknowns and surprises thrown your way can be pretty darn stressfull...so be thankfull you are only providing entertainement and have to anwer to a disgruntled audience and that too not every day...but when it come to bite you in the butt as when trps fall and the channel gets ancy...

Most of us your not so clued on audience are not that lucky in the proffessions we have chosen...and hence we come to relax with this half hr of entertainment you provide that got us hooked with the promise it belied...

being aware of your tight schedule and even tighter corners is what makes many of us forgive all of the many details that you seem to often over look...as in major illnesses your protagonist has...discontinuity and dissappearance of charactors and story lines...repetetive dialogue...need I go on...

dispite it all many of us chose to hang on and watch with those rainbow colored lenses saying it will get better ...it has promise...these are the very same creatives that gave us the initial plot and the charactors themselves and so on and so forth...

but sir a story that is not going anywhere for months, that has poor quality comedy, that loses sight of the charactor board , that over looks the existance of potential and entertaining parallel stories,

so who pray tell are you focusing on as audience and who are we to hold responsible for this downward spiral.

I understand the need to bank...running short of stories peek in here you will find very talented young people not on your pay roll that churn out some wonderfull stuff based on the very charactors you created...there will be enough ...material to last you two yrs and then some with all ends and odds and alternatives...

On a closing note...as you so take time to let us now why CV's are human too, and we as audience need to undestand that...at the end of the day it is rupees and paise...and as u so elequently put it ...it is entertainement...which a dime a dozen and only and remote switch away...those of us who stay and crib are the ones that still care (you are preaching to the choir) the ones who sold their soul to Kushi and Arnav and want their entertainment to leave them on a high note...these are the people you see ranting...and going on giving you clues that what your doing is not working...giving you chances to make it better for them...but nontheless sticking on

Those who did not buy your excuse are long gone...(notice your trps)...

May be Mr Hegde its time to pick up the pen and re write the play and concentrate on the fine words there...placate us with your genius that we know you have...translate that to our tv screens.

I would also say I would not dare pontificate as I do on a serial with subject shown on Satyameve Jayate...the reality it potrays there makes the difference...

I love the way you play Shyam...who ever writes him has done a good job (understatement) in slowly bringing out the manaical sociopath...

So basically Diya Baati aur Hum is writing bad stuff that's why they are on #1? while we struggle to be even in the top 10?Gautam Hedge, what was in your mind when you wrote Bubbly track- Mama track? What are we 9 year old kids? You guys keep saying we can't write good stuff everyday so BV and the rest who are ruling the roost, don't they also WRITE? How are they writing good stuff? Gautam Hedge, I fail to understand what;s the point of this post? You treat the audience like they are kids with no brains and then expect people to praise you? What happened to IPK the first month? Where the hell did the track go off? Fine, BS has a movie. WE get it, but why can't you shoot A LARGE chunk with him. You know, it sucks when there are worse shows than IPK on the tv and they get high trps and we have to sit here and think and will our show survive? and why do you always tell us to watch other shows? DON'T YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR SHOW? SNS can be stuffed in SNS. This is IPK, not Gopi and Ahem's story. You are not using Daljeet's properly - why the hell is she like this, what is the past? did you forget it so quickly? Whatis the backstory to the Malik-Raizada? What happened to their mom? their dad? It be really pointless if you make Shaym the kidnapper for some stupid papers, and have Khushi rescue him and make it all filmy.. WANT IPK BACKKK! We have been saying this and this all thew way ; take the show back to lucknow, don't shoot there, but use the sets, do something; take it back it where it has where it began. as viewers, we care about the damn show. we are not your enemies

This show has changed my life. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving us IPK. I wish you guys had some more breathing space, coz this kind of work schedule really sounds inhuman. I know IPK is going through a low phase with low TRPs last week, but mark my words, you guys will be back in top 5 very soon. I have full faith in our show. I love each and every member of your 80 odd crew for giving us IPK.
