It was only natural for lord siva to break into tandav after he had lifted the body of sati but he goes so intense like in some sort of trance lord vishnu has to help him come out it.

The main purpose for lord vishnu to destroy sati mata's body was to get lord siva out of the attachment mode and that alone was the purpose to help lord siva and lord comes out of it.

upto this storyline is true to me.

To me all events are a shiv leela and its hard to understand and some beyond me eevn tho shivji is simple but they are a guide to us.

I've also heard the same thing...that after Sati's body was dismembered, Shiva goes into meditation. I wonder what the source of the current narrative is?

But as to the number of Shakti peethas - there are several versions - some say 51, some say 56, and so on...i guess it depends on the source.

moreover what i'm not happy with is that they are showing as if Shiv Shakti's milan was only to kill 1 aasur i.e. tarkasur!! what is this?? what is with Vishnu - Lakshmi - Brahma conversation??
i really think its time they study mythology once again.. i can see the show is losing its charm.. no one wants to see their lord crying this way.. they shld not show it this extensively!! really sad..

I haven't seen the episode yet...

But I agree that it's very very hard to watch Mahadev's pain. Seriously Mohit Raina is doing an outstanding job! 👏 👏 👏 I really didn't think I could be this moved by a mythological tv show!

But I don't have a problem with it...

I do however want this phase to end as soon as possible and for Parvati to enter...

completely agree.. as an audience to Mohit Raina - the actor.. i'm highly impressed by his acting credential however we are audience to this show which is based on a Lord!! and you shld see the conversations in show today.. i was surprised how can anyone write such script?? as if there is only one motive post which let whatever happen to Shiv Shakti.. i was disappointed.. the production should not make any God look so meany...
