our show needs serious mother in law

the main problem of our show is mother is law is very lively nani...and mami is comedian...

are you serious? IPK was never a mother - daughter story.. its main USP was the brother-sister story. and now the brother, sister, wife, husband quandary.. please gawd dont bring a mother in law into this!!

not having a serious, always ready to fight mother in law in IPKKND, proves that starplus is trying to promote the , 'Nayyi Soch' thing. according to the indian or shall i say the asian culture, a mother in law is known to be a very strong character, a dominant character and saas baahu fights and stuff but our show is one of a kind! it doesnt have all that crap! and thats our show's uniqueness!

IPKKND DOES NOT need a serious mother in law type of character. When we had high TRP's, we never any serious MIL type character.. so why do we need one now.. ??? We ruled the trp charts wid the same cast as is now... all we need is to stop dragging the current MU and tighten up the script a bit more. the show introduced characters like NK who could do comedy and bring some sense to the show. Right now.. the characters being introduced are Bubbly and Masala Mama... they aren't even good for slapstick comedy.. ! IPK can still rule the charts as it has an awesome cast and so much more to explore in terms of storyline.

Strong dominating mother in law and slave type bahu 😃. That is too Ekta ish. Had this been an Ekta serial then Arnav would have been presumed to be dead by now, they would have cremated god knows whose body and Khushi would have been a typical bahu crying buckets. Audience (read aunties and house wives) would have been glued to the tv set.

After few episodes Arnav would have been back with a plastic surgery with increased or decreased height, entirely different face, voice, behavior. The only thing the producers of those serials cared about was to keep the gender same b4 and after the plastic surgery 😛. Again the audiences would have been glued to the tv watching the reunion ceremony.

If this also failed to garner TRP then Khushi would have been married or engaged atleast 5 times b4 arnav comes back after surgery, and all this Khushi would have done to save arnav's family from well anything, starting from bankrupcy, debt, parivar ki khushi, take ur pick ! Again audience crying and TRP soaring.

It takes a lot to be different. Glad that this show is different !!

maybe his dadi Mrs Malik actually anjali needs to turn negative.. hers is the charcter that has a lot of hidden depth and holds power in the family that has to be revealed.

No, I seriously don't want any MIL in the show. It would be like changing the theme of the show. People who want MIL stories would just tune into other shows that have such MILs. They don't need to watch IPK for that..

No I don't think that its because of the lack of serious mother in law. Its just that the tracks don't connect to each other. Like for example the Bubbly case it was all between Bubbly, Akash, Payal and Mamiji. It was like we are watching two separate shows. On one show we have the above mentioned four and on the other show we have Khushi, Arnav, Shyam and Anjali as the cast. It din't look like they are living under the same roof. But, that problem seems to be solved now since now Payal is participating with Khushi in her grievances.
