Small film, big hit
Despite this being the season of IPL and many big releases, the small budget flick, "Lovely" starring Aadi and Shanvi directed by B Jaya has completed its 50-day run. "I worked for two-and-a-half-years on this story and created ten scripts.And then I finally came up with "Lovely" to connect with the current generation," says Jaya, who says she has never worked so hard on a film before.
The director attributes the film's success to the songs by young music director Anup Ruben, shot in beautiful locations and the lead pair's performance. Producer BA Raju is a happy man too as the film has done remarkably well, despite being pitted against other big films at the box office. "We are planning to hold a function to celebrate this," he says.
