She could hear the sound from the nearest temple... though she visited temple occasionally with her grandmother...
she could hear someone singing...as if she had heard this before...as if the singing and dancing were a part of her life...she started walking towards the temple that wasn't too far...
"The eyes in which your beloved already exists...then no one else can ever have any place..."
She kept walking until she reached the steps of the temple...
"attachment from the heart is not any ordinary thread that can be broken..."
she saw two girls dancing on the rhythm... one lady singing with a sitar and a man with drums...
"i am lost in you my beloved" that's all she could hear...her feet automatically started dancing... "you are my path...you are my destination...all I want is you..."
she twirled around on each rhythm...

"thanks a lot" Kamini took the flowers and turned around...she was shocked to see Chandni dancing... she glanced around...every one was watching her... she felt embarrassed...
"Chandni" she yelled...and pulled her arm... "what are you up to???"
Chandni was out of breath, sweating... she took few seconds to understand what had happened... she couldn't believe she was dancing... "no Grandma...how can I..."
Kamini was angry at her... "lets go home"...
Chandni couldn't understand her reason of dancing...she has never learnt dancing and was never interested in learning...
she never enjoyed dancing and now she herself danced... but how could this be possible...
"i am sorry Grandma..." but Kamini would not listen to her at all...she couldn't imagine Chandni dancing in the temple...
her anger only increased with every passing second...this was the first time ever she yelled at her grand daughter...

Kaka was thinking how to explain all the things when Acharya Ji looked at his worried face "i know your reason of coming here"
Acharya Ji smiled at him but Kaka wasn't relieved and took out the crown from his bag... "this is..."
before Kaka could complete his sentence "i know what this is...and why this is in Raichand family...its very clear to me" Acharya Ji completed his sentence with a smile...
"but yes...we have some reason to worry...i am also worried for Veer's life Kaka...because if he dies then evil will increase its powers...and evil will win"
Kaka couldn't understand and requested Acharya Ji to elaborate the whole story...
Acharji Ji took the crown in his hands... "well this is only crown in Raichand family...my father...grandfather have told me that unless this crown exists in Raichand family, the evil will exist but when this crown will be destroyed, evil will start diminishing... this family has a two hundred year old curse"
Kaka helplessly looked at him "isn't there any way to eliminate this curse forever?"
"The queen who gave the curse to this family died immediately after she found her king sleeping with some other woman...she shouldn't have given the curse but she was helpless...she assumed what she was shown...she was a prey of a misunderstanding..."

Manohar and Misha planned a surprise party just before Veer's birthday...
Misha happily wrapped the gifts "now listen...i will pick Veer at 9:00pm...and we will be at the club...then at 12 midnight we will give him a surprise... so you have three hours... exactly five minutes before, I will bring him on the terrace...but please Manohar you must finish the decorations by that time..."
Manohar confidently replied "well...three hours is enough for me..."
they wrapped the gifts...and prepared all the arrangements for the party...

Meenakshi did not speak anything in front of her mother '..she looked at her daughter who stood confusedly against the wall...
"ask her Meenakshi...she was dancing like she knew that dance so well...it was so embarrassing..." Kamimi shouted...
Chandni felt bad of her behavior...but she didn't had a clue as to why she behaved so indifferently...she cried and went to her room...
"Mom...please come...sit here" Meenakshi helped Kamini to calm down and sit on the couch...she gave her some water...
"mom...please...i have listened to the entire thing...now leave it...you know she was upset...may be she felt like dancing...mom a person never remains the same...please forgive her...i will talk to her"
Kamini angrily looked at her "i won't forgive her for this...even the thought of it makes me feel ashamed of what she did... God knows what happened to her..." she thought something... "i must ask the priest..."
Meenakshi knew her mother would never leave the superstitious things... she nodded and walked to Chandni's room...

He opened another bottle "Veer how could you fall for her???" he said to himself...and gulped the entire bottle...
he felt extremely tormented...he wanted to embrace her tightly, never letting her go away but at the same time he knew she would never be happy with someone who had so many girls in his life and who has a bad habit of drinking...
he knew Chandni likes him but he would not let her fall for him...he thought of going back to Mumbai...
once Kaka comes back he would definitely not stay here...it was difficult for him to live without her, but he had to for her benefit...
he was in love with her and always wanted to protect her... ...she has become his life...

Next Day...
She opened her swollen eyes...she had been crying all night...she remembered her Mother had knocked the door twice...
she quickly tied her hair in a ponytail and walked downstairs... "Mom...did you knock..." she looked at her Grandmother... and lowered her eyes...she was scared...
Kamini didn't talk to her but gave her the sweet after she performed the prayer... "take it" she said...Chandni could still feel the anger in her voice... she wanted to talk to her but somehow she was scared...
Meenakshi was glancing at the daily newspaper "yes beta...Maneka had called two times...you must go to college quickly...she's waiting for you..."
Chandni knew Maneka doesn't have anything important besides her boyfriend who might be coming today or tomorrow...she went back to her room...

Misha insisted Veer to join her for trekking... "Veer you have become so boring...lets go..."
Veer wasn't happy instead he just wanted to sit at home...but then he thought to get out of her thoughts he must indulge himself in something else... "alright...lets go" he said smilingly...
It was one of the most spectacular views one could see...in the foreground was a great basin set in the midst of the hill...nature seemed to be at its pristine best...morning sunrise was clearly seen with the himalaya range...
Background seemed to be dominated by a continuous barrier of snowy peaks and mountains...
"its so beautiful" Misha said excitedly... "i love this place..."
"we will be crossing through the old colonial bungalows..." Gurkha said, he was guiding them for the trip...
"saab we will have a short trek start up to beautiful Chimney village, crossing through the St Marry hill Holley water...there we will have a little break..."
Veer was least bothered where the Gurkha was taking them...he remembered his trip to tiger hill with Chandni...he tried his best to forget about her...
Misha came closer "its so cold here" she looked into his eyes...he didn't even kiss her once...finding it a good chance she came more closer to kiss him...but he pulled away... and started walking towards the other side...
"wait...Veer..." she was surprised "what has happened...??? you were not like this" she was concerned about him and shocked at his behavior...
"nothing...lets go" he was straight...there wasn't any expression on his face...

"Chandni...when you love someone...you forget everything..." Maneka replied '..
Chandni was now curious "but what if the person you love ignores you...or if he doesn't feel the same way as you do???..."
Maneka smiled "well then you should make him feel...i mean how will the other person know what you are thinking...you have to make him realize what you feel for him...you shouldn't give up...don't let your love just go away"
Chandni felt relaxed...she finally found out some clue...now she was sure that she will find out what Veer exactly thinks about her...or if not that...at least she will clear her feelings in front of him... "thanks Maneka"
Maneka knew that there must be someone, Chandni must be dreaming of "who is he??" she asked...
Chandni was reluctant to disclose... "well he's just a..."
Maneka knew Chandni would not tell her easily "well its alright...but whoever he is...cal him now...and talk to him...you will feel happy"
Chandni smiled and dialed his no...
she waited for him to pick up '..

Kaka did not get the complete information "so this crown was passed from generation to generation...but nothing happened in the past...???"
Acharya Ji was silent was few seconds "yes...but it carried the curse with it...as I told you the moment this crown will break, the evil that prevails in the family will start diminishing..."
Kaka was still unclear "so will it harm Veer??"
Acharya Ji smiled "no...i can see something protecting him...remember one thing Veer is very powerful...he may not know his powers...
Kaka most things will unfold itself...but regarding saving Veer's life...i myself cannot do anything...but this mysterious thing will unfold as the time passes...please leave everything to God"
Kaka thought of waiting till Sunday...as there was a prayer that Acharya Ji will perform to save Veer from the danger...

"its his birthday this Sunday..." Manohar said excitedly... "but he doesn't know we are planning a surprise for him..."
Chandni was happy "thanks Manohar" she disconnected the phone...
Maneka was waiting for her to tell what made her smile...
"he wasn't at home...but his friend informed me that its his birthday this Sunday..." she seemed happy, all her sadness seemed to have departed some where...
"you look good only when you smile..." Maneka said and cheered her up... "now you must buy some gift for him...and give it to him on his birthday..."
Chandni thought something... "you are right...i shouldn't feel wrong about him..."

It was lovely Saturday morning and Maneka had been waiting at the station for Rohan... Chandni looked at her watch... "well isn't the train late??" she asked...
Maneka knew Chandni had to go to the town to buy a gift... "Chandni I think you must leave...i will meet you at the town..."
Chandni left...she was confused as to what she should buy for the devil, she would buy a gift and would surprise him...
she decided to confess about her feelings...it was difficult but she knew if she won't she would feel terrible all the time...in the past one week she has come to a point where it wasn't easy to admit but she had to...
she was falling in love with him...she thought...
there isn't anything bad, its just he always teases her...he's not a bad person...she tried to explain herself...he doesn't drink, he's helpful...but she would tell him clearly if he teases her next time she would never tolerate...she smiled...
soon she reached the town... one after another...she searched so many shops but couldn't decide what she really should give him...

Maneka hugged Rohan tightly... "so many months...i won't let you go this time"
Rohan loved her "well who wants to go"
Maneka looked at the gift he bought for her "wow...this is nice...i like this ring..." she smiled... "ok we have to leave for town"
Rohan curiously looked at her "town??? for what?"
Maneka kept the ring in her bag "well Chandni wants to buy a gift...i don't know if she may have chosen one or not...so lets go"
Rohan wore on his jacket "Maneka...i don't understand Chandni and gift???? I can't relate these two...are you talking about that Chandni who is so serious all the time...who doesn't lift her head out of her boring books...and who doesn't have a life..." he laughed...
Maneka patted him lightly on his shoulder "Rohan...stop it...yes...and you know Chandni is in love"
it wasn't easy to digest for him...he stood still for a second "what????? are you crazy??? Chandni and love????...you are giving me shock after shock...hope you haven't planned to kill me"
Maneka hold his hand tightly "now come lets go...she must be waiting for us..."

Manohar and Misha planned everything for their party...while Veer was still sleeping...
Misha asked Manohar to get ready by evening...she would take Veer to the club and he can continue his work at the hotel...
Pratima overheard "Saab's birthday..." she said loudly...
Manohar looked at her "sshh...lower your rough voice... yes Veer's birthday...its tomorrow, but we are planning a party tonight..."
with a broad smile she asked another question "Saab...then you won't have dinner tonight..??"
Manohar now understood why she was so excited "yes...no need...you can also enjoy...but after completing all the work...you can come to hotel Royal Oak..."
Pratima was happy "thank you Saab...i will get ready by 10:00pm and will come with Deenu..."
Manohar smiled "every body is excited except for the birthday boy"

Chandni managed to find a gift... a set of two watches...
Maneka and Rohan were in the cafeteria waiting for Chandni... Maneka wanted Chandni to confess her love and be happy...she knew Chandni needs love...she is lonely and this was the first time any boy was able to charm her...
Rohan finished his coffee "where is Chandni????..." curiously he looked around...
Chandni happily came towards their table "hi Rohan"
Rohan knew Chandni from last five years "hey Chandni...how are you???...good to see you..."
happily she looked at Maneka "i found one..."
Maneka asked her to show them...she was surprised to see such a unique gift...
"wow Chandni...but what's the use of two watches???" she asked confusedly...
"one watch can give a signal to another watch...to any distance...isn't it amazing" she said while packing his watch...
Rohan looked at them "Chandni...Maneka told me you are in love????"
Chandni fumbled "why did you???"
"come on Chandni...its not bad, its something really good...we are happy for you" gladly looked at her...
Maneka responded "well you know Rohan...he's from Mumbai..."
surprisingly Rohan asked her "really???? wow...that's good...may be I know him..."
Chandni smiled "he's very rich and famous...i think you must be aware..."
Rohan ordered another coffee "really, what's his name??"
Chandni sipped her coffee "Veer...Veer Raichand"
Rohan smile vanished...he was silent, as if the name shocked him...
Chandni couldn't understand his expression... "what happened..??? have you heard about him??"
"Chandni...i was working in one of Raichand's companies... I have seen him three or four times... but I am surprised how a girl like you can fall for him?" said worriedly
Chandni silently listened to what Rohan was saying...her hands were turning cold...as if something terrible was going to happen...as if her world of thoughts and dreams would be shattered...
Rohan continued "he's a womanizer...for him girls are only meant to entertain him for one night...he's a biggest alcoholic...i have seen him fighting with the bar people over drinks...he had played with so many girls...and now he must have planned to make you his prey..."
"prey!!" devastated she uttered...
Rohan didn't stop "yes Prey... you must be his next prey...he will use and throw you just like all other girls...its so difficult to believe that you fell in his trap..."
Maneka looked at distressed Chandni "no Rohan...it could be somebody else...i mean it could be a misunderstanding..."
Rohan was persistent "no Maneka...i am sure...i can never forget his face..."
He looked at Chandni "if you don't know anything about him and you love him then I am sorry to say but you are the biggest fool on this earth..."
It seemed somebody tore her in pieces...tears did not stop from her eyes...she felt cheated...she remembered...
"people drink when its too cold, have you ever tried drinking?"
"its alright...it was just a genuine question...if you don't feel like answering"
"no...i don't drink and I hate anyone who drinks..."
"same here...even I hate anyone who drinks."
She felt collapsed...her heart was not believing her mind...
Maneka touched her hand "are you alright Chandni??"
Chandni wanted to leave... "i will talk to you later..." she left...
Maneka stared at Rohan "you have broken her heart???? why did you tell her???"
Rohan looked concerned "listen Chandni is our friend...and would you want some rich brat should spoil her life???.

After few hours...
It was almost dark...but she was still sitting at the bench...thinking about him...she felt cheated...he betrayed her...it was like a bolt from the blue...she wanted to ask him why he did this to her, did he think she was just like his passing affairs...
black clouds surrounded the whole sky... soon it started raining...but she was till sitting at the bench... she decided she would put an end to all her thoughts...she walked towards Kuseong... with the unending stream of thoughts, she knocked at the door...
Pratima was surprised to see Chandni in this condition...she was all wet...she looked from top to bottom...her white top was all wet...she wasn't wearing any jacket...she saw her jeans and boots all wet... "Chandni maam...please come..."
Chandni didn't had any expression on her face "call Veer"
Pratima looked confused "Memsaab...Veer saab has gone to the club with Misha"
Chandni was furious...she didn't waited for him to come back...she walked towards the town...she had decided deep inside her heart that she would never let him come back in her life...today she will put an end to everything, then only all her thoughts will die...
she remembered about his birthday party...but now her thoughts had changed...she was jolted by what she was told and what he really was...

Veer was least bothered '..he drank few glasses of whiskey...but he wasn't enjoying with his friends...he sat in a corner with a glass and a bottle... everyone was enjoying...
Chandni was all wet when she entered the club... she saw him sitting in the corner drinking... she picked up a bottle from the bar counter and walked towards him...
Veer was shocked to see her...she was socking wet '.. he saw the bottle in her hand... "Chandni...how come you are here??"
Chandni angrily replied back "so you hate drinkers...right??? now you must hate me... she lifted the bottle and started drinking..."
he tried to stop her... "no Veer...just stay out of here...don't try to come closer..." she warned him and gulped the whole bottle... she was angry...she wanted to shout at him...
Veer tried to stop her...but she didn't listen to him... Veer felt bad... finally he took the bottle from her... lifted her in his arms and took her out of the club...
he thought of dropping her home...but then she was wet...she must change...she took her home...there wasn't anyone...Pratima had already left for the party... he took her to his room... she was shivering with cold... he took the small parcel and her bag from her hands...
He turned off the lights and took off her shirt...she was unconscious... he covered her with a blanket...and turned on the lights... she was still shivering...
he couldn't see her in this condition... he looked at the clock...it was 11:30pm... he thought of calling the doctor...but at this place...it was so late...
he thought something and unbuttoned his shirt...he slowly slid in the blanket with her...she hugged him... though unconscious she could sense him "Veer...i...i love you" that was enough to arouse him... he hugged her back...
he came closer...she brushed his cheek with her hand and gently guided his lips onto hers ...
This kiss was soft and tender, they both felt the electric current move like lightening through their touch...He stopped and looked at her, searching her eyes for a reason to stop...He was kind, sensitive and cared for her more than he could say...
She gave him no reason and leaned closer as he caressed her neck and gently brushed her lips with his... She sighed as he kissed her neck, and gently massaged her back.
Her hands wandered pressing firmly on his chest, feeling the strength of the man...
He hugged her and held her tight for a moment, savoring the feeling of her body next to his...They kissed and rubbed their bodies against each other as he removed their remaining clothes...
he admired her for a moment...then he unclasped the hook on her bra... he licked her neck moving down to her breasts...
She curled into him...
He stretched her hands above her head, and held them there with his hands... He lowered his face down onto hers, and kissed her passionately, he sucked at her neck...
He sealed her body with his...held her more tightly in his arms...not letting her go anywhere... slowly their kiss turned into passion...
He moved on top of her as she looked into his eyes...it seemed he was incomplete without her...he had never seen such a mesmerizing beauty before...she tightly hold him...for her, Veer was everything, her world...
even the pain felt like a medicine working on her thoughts...she was missing him...he looked at her "i love you Chandni" that was enough for her to melt...she embraced him tightly...
she had already lost the power of thinking rightly... soon she got drowned in his love...he caressed each and every part of her body...as if he worshipped her...slowly, not hurting her...he made love to her... Exhausted sleep overcame them
