Producer Nikhil Sinha's Devon Mein Dev Mahadev, on Life OK has been doing well on the TRP ratings since the very beginning. The reasons for the huge popularity of the show include its production values, its cast and the narrative. To cash in on its success, the makers now apparently plan to launch DVDS of the show. This would be the first time that a show, currently on air, would be available in the DVD format. Meanwhile, in the interim period before Parvati enters, actor

Mouni Roy, who plays Sati in the show, will be seen in flashback scenes for about a month. The channel is looking for the right face for Parvati's role.

Oh so its confirmed Mouni wont play parvati. Thats sad

no Mouni...:(...sad yaar...really disappointed...lets see who they get as Parvati...im not cure how many fans will continue to watch the show without Mouni!

Dont worry guys... The show will be fine without Mouni Roy... She will not be able to justify Maa Parvati's role... We need someone else... And see the TRP ratings will go even higher...

Mouni if directed well enough would have been able to pull of a Parvati if needed...if the need did arise im sure she would do a good job!but if the channel wants a new face i respect their decision-they know what they are doing...but it will be sad to bid good bye to Mouni!

she complimented Mohit brilliantly...also she's such an awesum dancer..she has the heart shaped face with sharp and beautiful features-close to perfection infact...

who ever they find must be someone who compliments Mohit-preferably someone lean because Mohits rather lean himself,someone delicate with nice Big eyes and a good classically trained dancer because dance plays an integral part in Parvatis life,a good actor,with the right body language...frankly i dont think any actor can fit the bill to the T...its such a hard combo to find...and whoever she is she will have to be someone who can make her own space..

fitting the shoes of Mouni wont be an easy task-thats all i have to say!

So its clear that Mouni wont be parvati...m very disappointed all hopes has gone to vain...now even if i a miss an epi than i wont feel bad...

Well I am NOT going to stop watching the show just because X or Y actor leaves. The show is worth watching because of the entire cast, the story-line, the direction etc...

As for who will play Parvati - I am sure they'll find someone wonderful. Given the success of Mohit-Mouni, they'll have to work extra hard to make the next jodi even more amazing, esp. since this is the lasting jodi. Take it as a tribute to Mouni's success as Sati.

Mahadev ko patana aasan nahin hoga, so Parvati better be super awesome! 😆 😆

Very disappointed... was hoping for Mouni to play Parvati.. 😔

i will watch.. because i love the show and the way its presented...for Mohit beacuse he is the star of the show-but disappointed never the less

but in a way the channel has willingly said "aa bail mujhe maar"-they are taking a HUGE risk..considering how popular Mouni is,also for the fact that they may not get a suitable replacement for Mouni-its going to be realllyy HARD...

BTW-if they do get a girl who isnt good enough for the show or for Mohit trust me ill quit watching!😡...all the best Life Ok you dont know what you are in for!😡

You know the story of shiv and sati teaches us to carry on. I got this teaching yesterday while watching the show. If the lord can be shattered at his sorrow then who are we mare mnrtals. It is understandable that we get bogged down by our problams. But life does not stop. It moves on. the world cannot stop at sati's death. And as sati's story transited into parvati's so do our sorrows disolve and happyness returns. About mauni the same thing is true. The show cannot stop at her exit for whatever reason
