All's Well That Ends Well
5 Months Later
"GEET!" Maan yelled walking into my store. I rolled my eyes and hid behind the shelf i was organizing. He'd been after me the entire day because of some speech he had to do in front of a delegation. He apparently, for the first time ever was nervous. "GEET, where are you?" He yelled. I heard his footsteps get closer and closer. I quickly ran to the back of the store and locked the door.
"Maan, i'm busy! Go home! I'll see you later." I yelled. He knocked on the door.
"Oh, c'mon! Open the door! I'll help."
I scanned the room and saw 3 heavy boxes with new products i needed to put on the shelves. I grinned as i opened the door.
"You wanna help?" I asked him as he walked in leaning towards me. I pushed his mouth away knowing full well he expected a kiss. He frowned as i pushed him away.
"You have to pick up those 3 boxes and put the products in there on the empty shelf." I instructed as i walked away to the cashier. Behind me, i heard him sigh frustratingly and couldn't help but smile. He was so cute.
Nearly 15 minutes later, Maan walked over to me smiling. Dust covered his jeans and shirt, with a few specks in his now messy hair as well. He managed to somehow get a streak of paint across his left cheek. He obviously has never had to do work himself.
"I have to show you something." He said excitedly. He offered me both his hands and i shook my head giving him a stern look. "Did you organize the shelf?"
He nodded glaring at me.
"Come." He snapped stepping closer. I sighed and took both his hands as he led me to the shelf he'd just organized. I smiled impressed. The man may have had servants do everything for him, he was still pretty good at doing things himself.
He pointed at a red heart with studs placed all over it.
"Open it." He said simply. I grabbed the heart and found a zip that opened it. My heart sped up and all i could do was gasp as i stood there staring at the beautiful 40 karat diamond ring. I turned to look at Maan who stood there staring at me with the most affectionate eyes. My eyes burned with the unshed tears. Maan nudged me to take the ring out and so i did. As i held it in between my thumb and finger, i felt a tear slide down my cheek. Maan gently wiped it away as he grabbed the ring from me and got on one knee.
My eyes followed him.
"Will you, Geet Handa, marry me, Maan Singh Khurana? Geet, i've felt something for you ever since we met. You had the courage to look me in the eyes and talk to me in a manner no one else could. You had the courage to tell me off and then offer me a hand of friendship for whatever purpose. You got to know me without having to, without actually knowing me. You're the only one i feel i can tell everything. I've never ever told anyone about my feelings. I'm just not comfortable discussing my feelings except with you. I don't feel ashamed to cry my heart out. I don't feel ashamed to be so smitten. You've been a best friend, a challenge, and my love. I don't know what i'd do without you. You make my life worth living and for that Geet Handa, i have to thank you. Without you, i wouldn't be here. So thank you for saving me."
I gasped as i stared into his chocolate brown eyes.
"I do love you Geet. I love you very much."
Another tear slid down my cheek.
"Maan, from the beginning, i felt some odd connection with you too. My purpose has always been to save you. And i'm glad i did. Wanna know why? Because you're important. You're very, very important. You're the only one who's given me courage till now. I wouldn't have been able to go on after this whole fiasco with Vikram, Nandini and my aunt if you weren't there for me. I know how long you've waited to hear this from me but now i'm sure and i'm ready to tell you.
I love you Maan Singh Khurana and yes, i will marry you."
Maan slid the ring into my ring finger and like a gentlemen, kissed my hand before getting up and enveloping me in a bear hug. "I'll never let you go." He whispered in my ear. I sighed feeling content. I kissed his neck and just breathed in his beautiful scent. I would've stayed there for the rest of my life if Annie hadn't interrupted us. She walked into my shop and tapped my shoulder grinning. I turned red as i pulled away from Maan who just chuckled.
"YOU have such bad timing." Maan scolded her. She just stuck her tongue out at him and i laughed.
"So, i was only here to tell you guys that Arjun proposed to me." Annie mumbled sticking out her left hand. I squealed grabbing it and staring at the ring.
"It's so PRETTY!" I gushed but got no response. She was too busy staring at MY hand. I followed her gaze and saw her staring at my ring and before i knew it, i was blushing. Her mouth dropped open and she turned to Maan who just shrugged with a big smirk on his face.
"Congratulations to you and me, huh?" He said. Annie laughed pulling him into a hug.
"Aww, you 2 are SO CUTE! I was waiting for so long for Bhai to propose! Honestly!" Annie squealed.
"And, i have more news. We're all going to the US in a week. I've bought the tickets. Geet, NO. You can't protest. You can sell your shop, whatever you want to do but i'd like you to come home with me." Maan said.
I turned red. He said home. His home, my home. It felt so good. I nodded in a dream like state. I'd actually have family from now on i thought as i stared at Annie and Maan.

Vikram and Co had been charged with attempt to murder and kidnapping. All three were sentenced to 25 years of life imprisonment without bail.
Eventually, Geet and Maan had moved to the US. Maan continued on with his business and Geet joined as his personal secretary. A few months later, the two tied the knot just after Annie and Arjun. Obviously, Geet would have visions once in a while but she learned to cope with it. Usually, she only ever got good visions.

And that children was the story of Maan & Geet. 😃 So if you guys noticed i managed to incorporate the title in Maan & Geet's speeches. 😆 I was so proud of myself. 😎
