Come, let's meet Karan Kundra, who's away from Television these days, awaiting Punjabi Movie. He has lost a chance to step foot in Bollywood, because when he was offered a role, he was very busy doing a show on Television. He admits that he's sad at missing that opportunity but he doesn't lie to dwell in the past and has high hopes from his future.
Karan, who started his acting career through TV, was born on OCT 11th, 1984 in Jalandhar. He belongs to the family of businessmen and he did his MBA from a university in USA and has his own business in India. He's the only son with three older sisters and his nick name is 'Sunny'.
He's never been short of money but it was the hope of 'Fame' that brought him to TV. He did his first show as 'Arjun' in the show 'Kitani Mohabbat Hai'. Before that he had some some modeling assignments. Him becoming an actor is linked with Ekta Kapoor. Karan said, "One day Ekta contacted him on Facebook and she expressed the desire to meet him. When we met, she offered me the role in this very famous show, and this was in 2009." After that Karan's success and popularity knew no bound. This show became very famous amongst its viewers and the role of 'Arjun' was loved very much. Season Two of the same show also was aired on 'Imagine TV', which again was very successful and managed to get the attention of the audience.
Audience saw Him as 'Veeru' in Sony Tv's show, 'Betab Dil Ki Tamanna Hai' and again he proved himself as an actor. In 2010 he played the role of a 'Bhoot' in the horror show 'Aahat', to which he refers as a 'different experience'. He danced in the very famous reality show, 'Zara Nchke Dikha' and earned good marks from the judges. His journey as an actor is ongoing, but he's getting distant from the world of Television, due to Punjabi films. His first film was 'Pure Punjabi' which has proven very successful and some critics have declared it a 'Super Hit'. He's currently working on more projects and is working hard to make his mark in Movies.
According to Karan, 'Film and TV are two completely different things. I have learned a lot from TV, and it has helped me a lot in my movie. Both of the fields have different demands from the actors. In Daily serials, we have to work harder, where as in Films, in less time, we get more money and fame. I'm very happy with films" His fans shouldn't think that he's not happy with Television and will bid it good bye. In fact he'll continue working on TV and he said. "I'm waiting for a good role, and will be back really soon. TV is my favorite industry and i want to work here, but right now there hasn't been any role offered to me that would appeal to me. Right now I'm also waiting for my new Punjabi Movie"
This Handsome star, Karan has a huge fan following in girl, who love to watch him on different shows that air on different channels. Every fan wants to know more about the person life of their favorite actor and to know more about his likes and dislikes. We asked him some questions. He claims to be a very 'Honest' Person". " I'm very sensitive towards my image. I pay attention to my looks and the way i dress. I like to wear latest belts, gold chains and wrist watches. My cloths are designed by particular designers and i love chocolates. I like Punjabi and Chinese cuisine and Biryani is my weakness". Listening to songs, reading books, and watching Discovery & National Geographic Channels are amongst his hobbies.
While giving a message for his fans he said, "I consider TV my home and my viewers are like my family. I can't imagine being away from them. Keep praying for me and also for my success in Films. I'll return to TV very soon"
