Close you eyes.. Take a deep breath and clear your mind.

I was repeating this action again and again sitting in front of the giant mirror of the makeup room. Finally a lot of planning, arrangements, after lots of drama the day has arrived. The day which was giving all of us a headache. St. Louis's concert for the charity gonna start within half an hour.

All of us were tensed. We all were a little bit nervous but very much exited. I was completely lost in my thought just then some one called my name resulting to break my state of semi consciousness.

"Sharon.." It was Simmi.

"Yes Simmi! Don't shout I'm not deaf." I said raising my voice little bit.

"Oh really? Thank god." Simmi said putting a hand on her heart. "I thought my best friend lost the ability to hear. I was calling you from the past 10 mints and you even didn't move a muscle in response. Simi said in a breath.

"Sorry. Actually I was thinking so many things together.."

"Yeah! I know. Finally the day has arrived and your solo performance is opening performance of the evening. You're thinking all these no?"

"No." I replied instantly.

"No!" She said in disbelief. "So what makes you sink into the ocean of thoughts? Huh?" she raised an eyebrow.

I gulped. Should I tell it to her I'm thinking 'about the guy who has stole rather say snatched sleep from my eyes. Every time I close my eyes I see the messy hair, the excessive bright eyes, and the innocent smile. I was lost in the thoughts of the guy who ruined my habit of writing diary. Every time I touched pen on the page only one thing came out of it. 'SWAYAM.' I have wasted at least 15pages of my diary writing Swayam all over it. God. This Swayam Shekhawat is making me insane and insomniac.

"Sharon" Simi clapped in front of my eyes. Again you were lost into your own dream world. "what happened with you? Seriously tell me what's going on in your mind?"

"I was thinking about our group dance." I lied quickly but to my utter disappointment I was caught by her so easily.

"No you're not thinking about that." She nodded negatively. "Let me guess what you were thinking.." She frowned.

Sharon you're dead. Now Simi will tell it to Rey that you were lost into thought of Swayam. And what would Rey do? I was even scared thinking about it. Rey's hobby is pulling my leg asking about Swayam. Can't I even think about my prince peacefully?

"you were think that how good you're looking in the blue lahenga." Simi said cheerfully.

My breath was stuck in my throat. When she said it I heaved a sigh of relief.

"Yes yes.. I'm thinking how good I'm looking in this dress." Ah! What a relief!

"yeah! Sharon you're looking gorgeous." She replied smiling.

I hope I'm looking best. Blue is his favorite color. I came to know it from Tani. She didn't suspect anything but it was Rey who made me go crazy asking why I was asking her which is Swayam's favorite color. Rey is such a rotten idiot. He knows everything about me and Swayam but still acts like an innocent baby. Doesn't he know the reason behind the question?

"Sharon but why did you decide to dance semi classical wearing lahenga?" Simi asked fixing her hair.

"Sharon Raiprakash loves to give surprises. Every one thought I'm gonna perform salsa or jazz. But I thought lets give them pleasant surprise." I said applying the lip gloss.

But the main reason was I can never forget the way he looked at me on Nicole mam's wedding. I was wearing Indian and he looked at me like.. like.. ok I have no words to describe the intense gaze. I was actually expecting the same gaze from him today.

"Tera milna hai uss rab ka ishaara maanu

Mujhko banaya tere jaise hi kisi ke liye" I started humming.

"Sharon lets go outside.. all are there.. it's better to chat with others than sitting lonely in front of mirror." She practically dragged me.

Lots of people were there. Most of them were busy in their own works. All wanted to make it a successful night. I spotted Rey giving description to a few batch mates. Neha and Vicky were standing at a corner continuing their duty of being love birds. Others were busy in giving bits to Nilesh.

"guys go to your work. You can do all the fun later." Rey snapped.

"we've already did it." Vicky replied not taking eyes from Neha.

"not disturb in Babu-Kagu time." Neha said blinking.

Uff! I had spotted everyone except him. where is Swayam. I dressed in Indian specially for him and he's not here. Have to find him. where he can be?

"Sharon.." Rey called my name. "looking beautiful. Let's take a pic."

I quickly posed for him. he looked at his cam after taking the pic. Nice one Shar. I wasn't watching at my pic.. it's next to impossible that I'm not looking at my newly clicked photo but it happened my eyes were traveling here and there of the back stage to locate Swayam.

"Sharon, you're not looking." Rey said clearing his throats.

"yes I'm." as I replied Rey raised his brows giving an expression of Oh! I know what're you thinking. "I was trying to spot all the dancers." I said quickly.

"Oh! We all are here but Swayam."

"Why? What happened to him? is he ok?" I was going to continue my questions but Rey cut me..

"Oww! Sharon calm down. I never saw you caring so much about some one." As Rey gave a smirk I aired a warning look to him.

"Swayam is fine. He worked here overnight and went to home 12 o' clock today. He thought he would take a nap of an hour but an hour became 6hours.. and he is gonna be late. But he said he will be here before his performance." Rey said noticing my facial expression.

Great! He's not here. Wow. He will be here before his performance. Then what about my solo? He should rot in hell.

"Where's Tani?" I asked him about Tani in hope of getting more news about him.

"wah! Bhaiya nahi toh bahena hi sahi" Rey said in teasing tone. "she's there." Rey pointed at her.

"Tani."

"Bhaa.." as I gave her a dangerous glare she stopped for a sec then started to talk "Bhaiya isn't here."

Well I don't hate it when she called me bhabi actually I like it. After all I'm her would be bhabi. But if she starts to call me bhabi in public it will create a big problem for me specially when your best friend and biggest enemy is always glued to you. Rey notices every micro expression of my face with wise eyes. I hate it.

"who said I'm here to ask about your bhaiya?" I said with attitude which made Tani confused. "I came here to say I know you're very nervous but don't be tensed everything will be all right." I said with a big smile.

"thank you."

"by the way where is Swayam right now. Still at home? How many seconds, minutes, hours he will need to come here?"

"Sharon you're making her nervous." Rey cut my automatic question gun. "Tani.." he said in a sing a song voice. "I loved the song you have picked to dance.. but I think you should have dance with the song..

Bhaiya Aur Bhabhi Ko, Badhai Ho Badhai' Rey said looking at me with a naughty smile.

"but I have only few minutes left.. not enough to learn a new dance." Tani said pouting.

"koi baat nahi. You will get the chance to dance with the song very soon" Rey smile became wider.

"Sharon on stage in five minutes." Vicky declared.

"Sharon good luck. We'll be in the front row." Rey hugged me before leaving.

Standing on the stage I could only see the first row of the audience. All of them were sitting there but Swayam's seat was empty. Swayam is very punctual but he was late on the day he is needed most. As the music started I started to dance.

Sadly for whom I was dancing he was not present. But he knew it my dance will be the opening performance of the evening.. why he's late??

I had faith on him. he will make it in time. He won't miss my dance and when I was dancing specially for him.

Lots of thoughts were playing Olympic in my mind when my eyes again traveled to the empty seat. I became a little bit disappointed. Rey was sitting on the next seat he indicated me to continue dancing. He started to make a call.

The song was stating the inner situation of my mind. Who thought Sharon Raiprakash would go crazy to this limit. All the intense moment we shared, all the feelings I felt.. it was out of the world.. and I would never share with anyone. It's only me who can taste the flavors of those moments.

I was lost into my own reverie. All my surroundings were dissolved into nothing. There was only me and him in the whole world. Together we were alone there. Yes. It was the place I always wanted to be.

I was so much lost into my trance. I felt it he was with me there.. but at the moment my eyes fell on the empty seat and reality slapped on my face. I pouted angrily wishing desperately to kick him. he had to be late today. Why? On the day I gathered all my guts to speak my mind. Swayam I'm not gonna leave you for being late. I'm gonna get my revenge.

God knows what I was doing on the stage. I was dancing robotically but from my soul. Again my eyes traveled to the particular seat and I found brightest pair of eyes were looking at me.

Finally he was there. I knew it he would be here. He would be always there when I needed him. I used to shout at him, used to insult him but always his presence kept encouraging me. I was so stupid that I couldn't feel my strength.

My strength.. my weakness.. now I can't even imagine my existence without him. I don't even want to think what would happen to me if he was not with me. May be I wouldn't be Sharon Raiprakash.

There would be no Sharon without Swayam. He is a part of me which can't be separated from me.

Finally the music came to its end. Though I felt like I could dance forever if he is with me.

I hear the loud cheering and sound of clapping from the audience. But my eyes were fixed on something rather say some one. Swayam Shekhawat you'll be punished for being late.

At backstage all were busy in wishing me congrats.

"congrats Sharon. Great performance." It was Swayam wishing me last. Yaha bhi late.

"Mr. Swayam Shekhawat.." I called his name with Dazzler attitude "you're to be punished for being late. Come with me." I pulled him by his hand.

"but the traffic.." he said helplessly.

"shut up and come with me." I said not paying attention to his words.

Finally we ended at the abandoned corridor. I closed the door behind and came closer to him. There were only few inches distance between us.

"Sharon don't you think we're becoming a lot more intense than we should?" he said with puzzled voice.

"Shh…" I put my index finger on his lips. "first rule to talk to Sharon is don't talk while she's talking." He nodded like an obedient kid.

"I Love You." Finally I said the magical words. His eyes popped out due to the shock. He didn't say a word. After a few silent sec I lost my patience. "Swayam I said I Love You. Can't you hear? Answer me."

It was my turn to be shocked. Suddenly he pulled me closer and make me sink into a kiss. His tongue in my mouth felt as sweet as honey. Even sweeter. After a minute we broke it.

"It was my answer." A smile was playing on his lips. He was going to kiss me again but I stopped him this time. "at first I have to punish you for being late." I said with fake anger.

"what's is my punishment?" he asked playing with my hair.

"I'm not gonna share this moment with anyone. You've to propose me in front of everyone." I said placing my hands around his neck.

"apki hukum sar ankho par." He gave a naughty smile and again pulled me into a kiss.. As the time passed our kiss became passionate.
