hope Sumitra does come back soon and not behave like Sheela chachi from NAIDL...'gayi, tow chali hi gayi!!"
I love this show! and want all it's characters to be around:-)

ok, i just read in another topic in this forum ki sumi is expecting and thats why gone on leave:-) phew!!
even then, hope to see her soon, all the best sumitra!!

I dont think she left the show
i read in some interview she is in her mom s house n doesn t participate in shooting tilll june

Smita Bansal, who currently plays Sumitra in the hit TV show 'Balika Vadhu', has taken a break from shooting.

But there's no need for her fans to worry. Smita aka Sumitra is not quitting 'Balika Vadhu' and is just on a much needed break.

The actress is holidaying at her mother's house in Jaipur. When contacted, Smita confirmed the news"Yes, I'm on a holiday in Jaipur and will be back only in June". Ask the lady how she likes to spend her free time and pat comes the reply "I love to sleep".
