They are paving the entry of Soham. Why else would you butcher a character like Arjun and try to tear apart Poorvi and Arjun? Soham was meant to enter the show in mid of the new generation and by the looks of it , his grey character may be on his way already.

If ArVi end up together, which I think WILL happen otherwise this show might go to the dumps, I think it will be interesting to watch how Arjun redeems himself and how he wins back Purvi's trust & love...I only hope Purvi doesn't become as weak as her mom and stays the strongheaded girl she is

You hit the nail on the head Soapwatcher. An orphan child seeking 'Apnapan' even subconsciously, does not deserve Poorvi's cavalier Aayi or Aaji. Who does she look for in her distress? The mother figures are gloating over Teju, Ovi and the Fatso. Not one inclusive mention of Poorvi. Tha Baba she is so appreciative of is ashamed to be called Baba by her.
