Mrs Walia .. every thing is perfect .. and the baby is doing fine the doctor informed .. after doing a thorough examination of Bani. Mr walia . is taking wonderful care of u and the baby i must say she concluded , closing the reports of Bani's blood work ...
and even though he has never accompanied u on your appointments .. he always keeps in touch with me on your progress .
Bani was taken aback ... on what her gynaec had just said .
so jai was .. well informed and upto date on her health and the babys .
mr walia is always busy with meetings and mostly out of town ,.so Maasi comes with me she lied .. . maasi remained silent .. a faint smile coming to her face . . it was ages since Jai and Bani had excanged a proper sentence in months ..only speaking the necessary .. when required .. in a single word or two .she had withdrawn completely from him ... and refrained from attending most social functions with him .or anyone else .. perhaps it was due to the condition she was in, pregnancy does have a tendancy to make one lethargic , moody and emotional .nd her .never leaving her completely by herself ,...jai sensed bani's resentment towards him and distanced himself .. to give her time to come out of her cocoon .he managed to keep a low profile around her camouflaging his care and concern .,for her and thier Baby . like an angel .. he made a mental note of her appointmentsmedicines ,vitamins and diet.Maasi made sure Bani was eating well and putting her feet up not lifting anything heavy etc etc .Jai . had no knowledge , bani was aware of his hand in her schedules and daily diet .she wasnt a child .. she could take care of herself and her Baby

she missed jai ... especially now more than before . in her third trimester of her pregnancy. Jai's past .. had hurt her too much coz it had changed her life overnite and taken away the most dearest and precious person in her Life . although it had happenned a along time ago , she still couldnt get over it .. and how it effected her life along with her two younger siblingswhen they had been so young . She missed her Mom terribly . If she were alive today .. she would be showering her tender loving care on her . Not that Maasi and Daadi were not spoiling her rotten ,, both doted on her nite and day ... stuffing her with Food ,juices and special concoctions for a healthy baby and safe delivery But a mother had a special bond with her daughter and pampered her to no end in her present condition condition .she glanced at her watch ..it was close to 2pm ... had jai had his lunch .?... she had personally packed it as everyday .. and sent it to the office . Not a single minute or day had passed without Bani thinking of jai .how could she not .. when she had this lil one reminding her of Mr Walia every time it kicked or moved from one side of her abdomen to the other, making its presence known .. and the beautiful moment she had concieved her baby
. staying away from Jai was .. so agonising ... , she wanted .. him close to her in the nite ... to comfort her when her back ached ,... when the baby kicked .... .. she wanted to hold jai's hand and put it on her swollen tummy so he can feel their baby Kicking playfully .. several times she had caught jai watching her from the corner of his eye . when they were alone or with the family.. his eyes distant and cold only warming up when he caught a glimpse of her . was she being inconsiderate towards Jai ?? this thought had been nagging her since long or was she just missing him like crazy?
yeh docter bhi na .. maasi thought .. kuch baat dil mien rakh nahi sakte ... she heaved a sigh .settling down in her place next to Bani as the car drove to wallia Mansion thru the busy strets of mumbai city .
Walia house once again was buzzing with too much activity ... as maasi and Bani walked in . ... everyone was preparing to go to celebrate Anu's new bundle of Joy just a week ago she had delivered a adorable baby girl .The chopra's were having a small welcome party to welcome Rohit and Anus baby.
Maasi and daadi .. had to carry the traditional customary ... gifts ... .sarees and jewelry for Anu ... some shirts and odds and ends for Rohit ... lots of mithai and ladoos for the chopra family.
aditya uncle was checking on the stuff to be carried to Anu's place . if everything was in order,
biji .. maine jo cheezen order ki this woh agayee ..? Maasi asked hurriedly
haan Maasi . aditya answered .. looking at maasi puzzled , yahi to hai .. he pointed out towards the table at the corner.
Pia and rano .. came down stairs .discussing something interesting between themselves
Pia ..tum kab ayee ..? bani asked, suprised to see Pia in walia house
pia looked at Rano .. tongue tied ... not expecting to see ther di .. , thinking , wasnt Di supposed to be at the gynaecologist,...
bas abhi to ayee hoon ... rano se kuch kaam tha to ... .. .. she lied .
Baani beta .. ab tu jakar Aram kar ,Raat ko Anu ke ghar bhi jaana hai tumhe . maasi reminded her ... insuring bani took proper rest.
thank god .. maasi interrupted ... warna aaj to bana banaya sa khel bigad jata pia silently thanked Ganpati bapa !

Main bhi di .. Rano added .. mujhe kuch kaam se bahar jana hai .. to jaa kar aati hoon .
Bani nodded.. wondering ..why pia was here .. and both Rano and pia were going out togather .. funny Rano didnt mention Pia coming over or they going out ...
anyways ... Never Mind she felt exhausted ..and wanted to lie down, once again her back was aching .she was becoming a delicate doll and maasi was treating her like an invalid !
