Shahrukh Khan confirms Ra.one sequel

Shahrukh Khan superhero project Ra.One received quite a few negative reviews in India. But despite all the criticism, the actor is planning to make a sequel of the movie.

Shahrukh Khan in an interview to a leading daily said, "Yes, I want to make Ra.One 2. I believe that our company has the best VFX unit in India. It would be a big waste if we don't utilise it to push the parameters of what we do in India."

Talking about Ra.One Shahrukh Khan said, "Many people didn't seem to like Ra.One (laughs). I am a very resilient and a tough person in terms of wanting to do certain things. It's difficult to make such films. They are very expensive and involve a lot of hard work. But I believe in the adage, 'no pain, no gain'. Surely, I need to make it."

However, the buzz is that Shahrukh Khan is looking for a new heroine for the sequel and Kareena Kapoor will not be a part of Ra.One 2.

So, who will be G.one's new Chammak Challo? Let's wait and watch!

YAYYY...my daughter is going to be so happy...she made me watch RA-one 2 times...not that I mind watching shahrukh again and again😆😆

Oh why remake Ra.One. It was a terrible film!

Hopefully, they get a better script and execute the film better. I think the Indian film industry does need to venture into making good sci-fi and action ventures. Most movie makers are fixated on formulaic movies. SRK has had the pinnacle of success and he can afford to take risks and make cheesy sci-fi films. Even though Ra.One was painful to watch, I appreciate SRK for taking the risks to venture into something different. It could be the stepping stone of failures for future generations of successful Indian sci-fi.

Ra One was nothing but a man's over indulgence in something worthless. Its was a lot like Kamal Hassan's obsession over Dasavatharam.

even m y son loveeddd the movie so much...i must confess i too enjoyed the special effects...he was already asking me where is the part 2 of this movie..he will be really thrilled

i seriously disagree on that...why not ? especially after the multiplexes opened, they can have an audience too...SRK IS RIGHT ON HIS PART to make sci-fi films...but he chose the same old CHEESY RAJNIKANTH type thing to make his movie...why? that was really stupid childish and gross...ppl fear becoz masses will not approve it. and that's how good films are never made in bollywood
