That Siddhartha Basu and some guys at STAR had told him this show wouldn't even be made as he was thinking of trying to do! Today it is here. For all to see. And it is being screened in remotest villages of India - all due to conviction and belief of this man - AAMIR KHAN!
Detractors have not stopped running him down. They publish crap articles, bark in tweets or blogs. But this MAN carries on! His courage, self belief and never-say-die spirit is just amazing! It inspires me so much! I bet no one can survive so much negativity and hostility as he does - and comes out a WINNER!
What are others doing? Making celeb coffee chat shows? Dancing to their and other's movies' songs? Cashing on people's greed and offering them crores to win? Ha!🤢
This ONE MAN - AAMIR KHAN made everyone look like jokers! His show takes us to face reality, not just revise information we had read, but also feel it and act on it in real life, he inspires us to take action and contribute in whatever way we can! He is the ONLY STAR who thought of reaching out to people around the country and the world. His show is online, it's in remotest villages of India, it's in all households, it's on our TV, cell phones and lap tops! It's in our papers!
Is it to create hype? NO! Even when we talk about, we talk the issue! Thanks to him that instead of foolish topics, it is important issues like child abuse and female foeticide which we talk about now online or in real life.
He removed the make up and showed all warts of society! And in a much better, more integrated way than a journalist! Barkha-Charkha don't reach the average villager. Aamir Khan does.
No one is fighting on this show or trying to snatch mic. It is not a fictionalised account of one crime case. It is all REAL, truth laid threadbare!

Why am I writing MAN in capital letters? That's because he's the only one who dared, who's man enough to go by his convictions and does not shy away from expressing his emotions - he'd cry without trying to put up veneer of a typical macho man!
A true patriot and an entertainer who completely changed meaning of entertainment. A guy who used media and power of cinema for good - to make a difference in society! 😊
Others are busy dancing at weddings, or hosting award shows or sipping coffee with powerful celeb friends. This man does Satyamev Jayate refusing 100s of crores of money he could have got through movies and endorsement deals. He was at peak after 3 Idiots. He could have made more movies, capitalised on that momentum and gotten more 100 crore grossers to maintain ranking on some box office chart. BUT NO! He chucked it all to make a show like Satyamev Jayate - for India, for Indians, for some positive impact!
And see the message he gives! He does not blame anyone at all! He repeatedly tells us and himself to change ourselves from within. Mujhe khud ko bhi hai tatolna...beautiful lines! One must become the change he wants to see in the world. A simple message given by Gandhi centuries ago. Now being promoted through Satyamev Jayate.
I salute Aamir Khan and his entire team. So what if some minor flaws? The project and its scale was huge. It's fulfilling its vision very well. Only Aamir Khan's money and fame is well earned and most importantly, WELL SPENT!👏
