Just wanted to complete my praise for Sanaya. She is playing the role of a complete human being with all the emotions associated. ASR character on the other hand is a flawed one -- we all especially women among us love flawed characters and that is the reason he is created as such. We find the perfect Male Boring and the perfect female adorable!!! Nature has its ways.
Sanaya is actually bringing everything about Khushi to life -- the sheer love for life we see in this person makes us watch the show. Every single romantic sequence you guys talk about when looked through the eyes of a guy --you dont see it because you guys look at it through your eyes -- mostly female -- is created by Sanaya.
Sparks started flying stronger after certain situations that were created:
1. Sanaya in the building -- the vulnerability created there -- well guys love a damsel in distress -- it doesnt matter how much time passes -- this is in our genome! -- When Sanaya got caught in that collapsing building -- some of it not necessarily believable but still acceptable scenario -- Sanaya as the vulnerable innocent girl was AWESOME.
2. During the Deepavali diya situation -- She was Awesome -- in that red saree she could have bowled over any male -- there is considerable attraction there -- the writers exploited it perfectly by creating the "payal on her feet" and Arnav getting completely seduced scenes perfectly.
3. New Years scene -- her adorable nature once again.
4. During the Sangeet -- Completely Vulnerable yet defiant -- attractive qualities. Barun nailed the scene where he questions her about the "Laptop se kardo inki Saggai" -- but She set it up. Barun delivered for the women but for any man watching Sanaya got them hooked right through the Sangeet program.
5. During the Chudiyan story -- it was her innocence that got him going. These are not necessarily "MALE" emotions but men feel them just as much as women -- we dont like to talk about them -- anonymous forums are perfect! For women, him kind of crying for her and showing strong concern sealed the deal. For men, it was the way she reacted when she saw the Chudiyan that bowls them over. She played that part perfectly. I am 100% certain that every woman on this forum loved it when Arnav says "aaj kahin jaaneki zarurat nahin, yahin so jao" -- he showed concern but in a male controlling way. But it was her enthusiasm that sealed it for us -- she showed that grit while giving some -- let me elaborate -- men love a challenge while winning the love of their partner but they also get encouraged when the partner knows how to play the game -- Sanaya showed that through innocence and true emotions -- she was already in love with Arnav but she couldnt believe that he was in love with her -- this is an ego boost for men -- this was shown really well.
6. The Holi saga -- she created the whole bubbly fun atmosphere and with her portrayal of holding Barun's hand, she led what is by far the most romantic of all the scenes we have had so far -- this is two inebriated people so they could be free to say what is in their hearts without the cover and the restriction of shame, embarrassment, fear, etc etc. She nailed the question perfectly -- love and the emotions related to them are equal in both sexes -- men try to ignore them with their testosterone filled ways -- women sometimes express them. But when it comes to this set of episodes -- SANAYA RULED!!!
So, the directors did one thing right after the abrupt wedding -- they were bring the two together through some absolutely wonderful stuff.
7. Even through the comedy stuff, Sanaya showed a lot of versatility! The Swamy stuff was absolutely hilarious.
I firmly believe that Sanaya deserves a lot more credit for the success of this show. I think Barun is a very good actor but the combo is the one that WINS. I am not sure he will be able to deliver with that co-star he is acting with in the movie -- that girl is an expressionless putla -- I honestly dont think she even looks good -- I watched Ishq Vishq and my wife and I dont really like this girl. I wish Barun the very best but I think his agent is one without vision -- she should take the script of IPKKND and run around studios to make a movie with it. A movie story with proper music and these two. WIth a few good songs this is is a million times better than that Suraj Barjatiya movie with Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao -- that was a BIG BIG Bore -- these guys have never left me bored.
In any case -- I may be talking serious analysis -- we are having fun here so let us continue to have that fun.
My Conclusion -- without any doubt -- Sanaya ROCKS.
Second Conclusion -- all the women on the forum are attracted to ASR the character -- that is what is making them love the guy -- you separate him from the character and see him other shows -- I just did -- his acting is not entirely the same. THat said -- he has the potential to be a big star -- because the shelf life of an actress is short -- Sanaya at 28 may just have another 3-4 years with the way our writers do their writing. THe guy could have 10-15 years yet to make it.
