Taapsee signs Ajith flick

Her last outing in Kollywood, Vandaan Vendraan, with Jiiva, didn't exactly se the box office on fire. But she has landed a plum of a role now! Apparently, the actress, who's popular in Tollywood, has been signed on for an Ajith flick. It was considered a casting coup when director Vishnuvardhan signed on Thala Ajith and Nayanthara for his upcoming film. The trio, who worked together in the hit Billa, was coming back together and expectations are high. Actor Arya has also been signed on for this project and now sources close to the unit confirm that Taapsee has also been signed on. Speculation is rife that she may be paired opposite Arya in the film. For some reason, Taapsee herself has not chosen to make the news public yet telling CT, "I will let you know once I do so. I haven't signed anything so far." When we contacted director Vishnuvardhan, he confirmed that the actress has been signed on for the film but refused to divulge more.

SHOOT POSTPONED

Producer AM Rathnam had recently stated that his Vishnuvardhan movie is set to go on the floor in Mumbai by mid-May. But he confirms that the date has been changed and it will go on floors only by the end of May.
