Geet boarded Pushpak Express in Bhopal early morning for Mumbai with lots of dreams in eyes. Her parents gave her number of instructions and reminded her of all safety measures. Geet nodded them to all. Geet was so excited that she could not even have a nap. She kept staring through the window. Everyone around her reminded her of her family members. Geet was in her world when a lady started conversation with her. Geet hesitantly started her convo but both of the gelled well. The lady told her to be from Bhopal and going for a living in Mumbai. She tells Geet her hardships and Geet feels bad about her. The lady tells her name to Seema and is traveling with her husband Shyam Singh. Geet starts addressing Seema as sister without her own notice. At Nasik station, Geet and Seema get down for water Where Seema meets a man whom she introduces Geet as her relative. The man gives Seema a parcel and asks to handover in Mumbai to his sister. Seema takes it. Both return to their compartment. Seema requests Geet to keep the parcel with her as her luggage is sealed and heavy. Geet keeps the parcel in her luggage. At the final station, Geet returns Seema their parcel which Seema asks Geet to carry till the exit.
Geet gets down the train and starts walking towards the exit. She finds a lot of police running around doing checkings. Seema pushes her to keep moving and not to concentrate on it. Geet is confused. In the mean while, police chase a guy and catch him. Geet and Seema are at the exit where Seema hires a taxi. Geet asks her about her husband which she ignores. She takes the parcel from Geet and leaves. Pictures of Geet and Seema are taken by a reporter.
Geet's old friend Nitya comes and picks her up. She takes her to a room where she lives. Nitya convinces her landlords to let Geet stay with her. Geet is sorry happy with everything going her way. She calls her parents and informs about her boarding arrangement. Next morning, Geet joins her job. Geet plans to not take any leaves until next summer so she can save her leaves for her siblings who are eager already to visit Mumbai. Geet's innocent, sweetness, and determination amazes everyone in the office, and soon she makes friends.
One fine day, when Geet is busy in her work, police enter her office with a picture. Peon shows them Geet.
Police: You have to come with us to police station?
Geet: Police station. why?
Police: You will know when you reach there.
Before Geet or her colleagues can understand, Geet finds herself in interrogation room.
Geet is shown pictures of Shyam Singh. Geet recognises him. Police show her the pictures of her giving Seema some parcel. Geet tells her how they got the parcel and why she gave it to Seema. Then comes ACP Maan Singh Khurana.
Maan: I am ACP Maan Singh Khurana. I am known for my strictness. I love my duty and hate wasting time. My track record is 100% and I can go to any extent to maintain it so now speak out the truth and help both of us leave this place ASAP.
Geet: I already told you everything I know
Maan: See you look from a good family. If you had any pressure or if you still have any pressure you can share with me. I promise to help you.
Geet: I have no pressure.
Maan: what was in that parcel.
Geet: I dont know.
Maan bangs on the furniture: If that Shyam Singh would have been alive I didnt need to sit before you for the truth.
Geet: What happened to him?
Maan: You tell me what happened to that lady, where she went, and what was she carrying?
Geet: I have no idea.
Maan starts losing patience with every question. Maan gives Geet last chance to answer but she still gives same answers. He asks the female squad to take Geet and bring out the truth.
After 24 hours, the head of the female police squad meets Maan.
Maan: Did she speak anything?
Head: No sir.
Maan: then why are you here?
Head: Sir. another blow on her body can take her life. she has not changed her statement and we dont even have any evidence.
Maan: Now you will teach me how to handle criminals
Head: Sir please that girl so innocent.
Maan: All criminals look innocent.
Head: Dont be so rude sir. she can even be innocent.
Maan gets conduct certificate from her college, work place, and past records of Geet. He finds nothing doubtful. With Geet's office friends making frequent appearance and case going no where. Maan decides to let Geet go.
Maan: As we got no more proofs against you. we have decided to let you go. As of now, there are no charges against you. I could have charged you for help terrorists.
Geet: Terrorists?
Maan: Yes that Seema and Shyam Singh are in our list.
Geet: ohh
Maan: but still I am clearing up all your charges so you can return to your normal life.
Geet: Normal life?
Maan: Just forget what happened and start it fresh. Ok.
Geet is out in the police station. Police handover her luggage to her which they brought for checking. Nitya comes to recieve her and informs her how landlords have refused to take her back. Nitya looks helpless and offers to drop her station so Geet can return home. Geet refuses and sits outside the station.
ACP Maan comes out to go home. His wife comes to pick him up in the way. Maan stares at Geet and remembers how beautiful she was looking when he first saw her. He just cant see the sight when his wife Neha asks him what went wrong. Maan tell her about Geet. Neha takes the initiative and offers Geet to stay with them until she finds a new place. Nitya promises her give her time and she will find Geet a new place soon. Geet is in no state to protest. Neha takes Geet home and calls doctor for her. Neha soon realises Geet is totally shattered not just physically but psychologically. Neha tries to win Geet's trust and console her. Neha makes Maan to take to Geet's officials so she can have no problem at office. They happily get ready to take Geet back. Nitya finds Geet a new place and makes arrangements to move with Geet as she does not want to leave Geet alone. While leaving Maan's house.
Maan: I know whatever happened with you was not right, but what I did was part of my job. I hope you understands
Geet nods.
Maan: Forget whatever has happened. think those 24 hours never came into your life.
Geet looks angrily at Maan. Neha tries to change the topic but Geet says sorry. Neha gets confused. Geet goes to Maan and gives him a tight SLAP. Maan, Neha, and Nitya who came to recieve Geet get shocked.
Geet: The moment you will forget this slap, I promise to forget those 24 hours.
Neha takes a deep breath, gives Geet her personal number, and gives her tight warm hug. She asks Geet to be in contact.
