i agree with you.but only 50%.

don't get me wrong.
what you said is true.

but other 50% part is unreal in HD.

indira taking all abuses and still taking all responsibility of family without murmur.

in real world no girl will remain with family if she abused so much.this is unreal part of HD.

anyay sahana bhi --anyay karme ka barbar ka julm hai.

yeh baat indira ko kab samajh aayega??

Maybe just Maybe I would have ran like a crazy person without collating my senses and might have acted in an indecisive way very much like Indira. Such a situation in real life would have made anyone paranoid and take extremely wrong steps Since HD tries to portray the real and not the dramatic I was fine...

Ankita

I don't think I or anyone else (to my recollection) have said that Indira running after the truck was wrong. To the contrary. It was very human, very instinctual, and very much real. That was the only part where she was portrayed as any wife would act.

It is after that the train fell off the tracks, when she was hit by the motorbike. After that, all her actions were un-Hitler like, unreal, and not what anyone would do whose loved one has just thrown off a high storied building, is dead or dying.
  • Not running back and finding out about the dump site
  • Or not getting the next available auto or bullying a Samartian to chase after the truck
  • Going to the police officer, having mental and emotional wherewithall to chase after him in an auto and then waiting ike a good little girl to get the phone exchanged.
  • Insult to injury, she then spends time getting flyers printed and distributing them while her husband may be dying
This is not Rati's fault. Perhaps that is why she has not been able to completely do justice to what happened last Thursday and Friday.

It is FAULT of powers-to-be
  • To make space and prop up this crude copper, they had to destroy Indira. Rishi has already reduced to being a brainless doll who can only utter "MMji...MMji"
  • My question is why the need for such a carnivore who eats up all who stand in the way, does not take HD to new heights like Rani Bhatija, but takes HD into the sewer.

  • The new director is playing his part in destroying HD. His direction is so poor that even a non-film buff can see glaring mistakes. If you are going to shoot a mystery, thriller track then the direction has to adapt to show the fear, urgency etc. Here it is completely the opposite

I really detested the direction of the shot where Sumer finds Indira distributing the pamphlets. The camera froze on him several times. As if that was not enough we had to see the frozen shot in sepia colors. We get it that he is stunned. You do not have to hit us over the head to show it.

Second was the foolish use of music to cover up conversations
    • First was the crucial scene when Indira goes to the police station to report what had happend at the building site. That whole conversation was covered up. That was crucial to highlight Indira's desperation and plea for help

    • Second was complete waste of time when we saw Sumer yelling at his subordinate. We have the misfortune to see that scene twice. Once with music covering up the dialog, followed immediately by repetition of the scene with dialogs.
      Now that is wasting time
IF this is what this new director thinks "SLOWING THE PACE" means then God help us all😡

  • This is all using gimmickry and thinking that viewers will be fooled into thinking they are seeing depth in scenes.
    To the contrary
When we wanted the scenes to slow down, we meant adding depth to characters, show more dialogues, internal conversations etc that show that they are aborbing what has happened to them
What the director is doing is not slowing down, but killing time

Worst is the utter destruction of quality of dialogs. We used to have one-line thread of Rishi, Munna, Radhe and even Rani. Can we have a oneliner thread of Sumer and want to visit that thread again and again to relive his oh-so-wonderful bodily function humor. His peeing remark is not the first of the kind. His threat to beat the "shit out his havaldar" was not funny either.

this copper is an ARRoGANT, CRUDE, CORRUPT copper who is being marketed as Hitler to create a false sense of match between Indira and him. Thereby they are reducing Indira to his level, not pulling him up to hers

PS: I think I am going to open a thread on the problems with this director's direction so that we have one place that is a catalog of all that we are finding wrong with him

Jem,
Was it Munni badnam song ? I think it was some eunch song I thought😆
You might have heard short term memory loss, but what CVs have done is they have turned Indira character into short term personality loss... She has lost her hitler powers.
In tennis, we have grand slam champions who defends the crown next year to hold the title... Similarly, Indu held the Hitler crown for quite some time and finally she has lost it after her epic battle with Rani gatiya... 😆 Now, Kutumb acts more of a Hitler than the hitler herself.
Jokes apart, I want the old hitler whom we all love to see, the one who was courageous, smart, practical, who knew to put people in their place, take the bull by its horn, and never the one to let anyone else to dictate terms to her.
I hope the naya kiraayadar shakes up this new indu and tells her to recharge the old Indu who had that tigerish presence in Sharma Nivas.
@blaming NK joke ?
I never wished to get some Tom into sharma nivas aur apne pair pe gulati maaroon😆 Main toh apne aapko Indu ke saath hona chatha... CVs ne mera idea chura li, but failed to call me for sharma Nivas😭
Nevertheless, this NK is temporary and there is no chance of Indu with Sumer... Indu aur Rishi saath honge aur may be after Rishi dies... original NK will come for punaar vivah😉

the worst part of this whole charade is...Indira using " commissioner ko phone lagaun kya??" phrase...she never needed any kind of leverage before to make people do the right thing...she even used it on the constables when sumer wasnt in station...

Such fine points jjkj. 👏 I had so much to say but forgot half of them. So here goes nothing. Even I feel this Hitler vs Hitler is way too forced. I mean Indira did not become the infamous Hitler didi by choice. The reason was so much more organic. She had become this emotionally disabled person because of her dad's betrayal. Its not that she loved being all Hitlerish. But the copper makes no sense to me. I think they are trying to unravel some kind of past which Sumer has in order to establish the fact that finally Indira is going to find someone with similar relatable issues(daddy issues) 😆 It is definitively forcing her down to his level. I mean Indira being Hitler gathered our respect. But Sumer is kinda doing the exact opposite. Him being described as Hitler does not fit in with the earthiness of the story. But now I guess there will be the BACK story. 😛 Ufff!
During the truck scene I was shouting out to the Television "Ask one of the cars to speed up and stop the truck". Believe me I found everything that followed that scene unrealistic but you never know I might have done something very similar in such a scenario. But then this is a drama. Now the flyer distributing scene. I think it was handled the wrong way by the director and the script writers. Rather than showing us that indira would go to any limits to get the policeman to help her search for her husband even if it means resorting to blackmail it seemed Indira was busy exposing corrupt crops and being mahan. Horrible Horrible execution. It could have shown immense resolution and strength on the part of a woman desperate to find her husband but showed Indira in poor light instead. Lastly the "mmji... mmji" part. Howlarious. Seriously the dialogues have suffered a lot these last few weeks. Very few power pact dialogues and horrible potty humour(literally). Salute to the cast for still doing an awesome job with such palpable lines.
