"Mera pati parmeshvar hai"

We hv heard dis dialogue umpteen no.of times in old movies where da women would call her husbands God.😆😆😆

But not many of u know dat dis sentence was actually spoken by sati.Yes guys, sati had told dis 2 daksh during da yagya.When sati was praising shiv after daksh insulted him,daksh asked her,"why r u praising ur husband so much?what's so great abt him?who is ur husband?"

Then sati replied,"mera pati parmeshvar hai."Meaning "my husband is God."😊

What she meant is my husband is so great bcoz he is God and we all know dat Shiv is God.

Now some ppl misinterpreted her statement and made dis assumption dat jst like for sati,her husband is God so for every married woman,her husband SHOULD be God.🤣🤣🤣

So dat's why we keep hearing abt treating husband like God,etc.,etc.,in old hindi movies or in stories and sometimes in real life too.

But da real meaning of dis sentence is dis.😃I had read dis in a book when i was doing masters on how ppl misinterpret things and events which happened many years ago.

I really wish dey show sati telling dis dialogue in da show too.😛

ha ha!!!very true for Sati/Parvati thier Pati is actually Parmeshwar...but now a days men specially take the Pati Parmeshwar phrase meaning however wrong my husband he is God for me!

if we call our husbands swami or pati parmeshwar.. what should the husbands call us?? swamini and patni parmeshwari.. sounds good to me!!=]

hahahaha...this is ok..Sati can say this bcz Shiv is a God...but nowdays every men think that they r also God...lolz..how stupid they r...😆😆😆😆

lol!! if they are gods then woman are godesses!!!if someone says to me woman should behave like sita... then i say then man should behave like a ram or Shivji!!!!😛

Really it seems those old movie,directors will got nuts ,when there are before u .

First of all the humans male ,female ,transgenders ,every one is the representations of Shiv-sakthi .

SO if males are parmeshwar then females are parameshwari...and so on

Now a days in new ages ,if ram will ask for Agni Paruksha ,then our modern sita will definitely question his lonely wondering days and ask him to join his hands with her before entering the purity fire. ... 😆

Pati parameshwar is kind of Superiority issue and attention ,that men always want in their life .so this satisfies them in all manners ,when it is uttered by his patni . Womanhood is a boon, so there is no need for copied silly dialogue's to fullfill its esteem .

u know what,dis agnipariksha thing is also a huge misunderstanding.i had read in da same book dat ram never asked sita 2 do agnipariksha.If ram would hv done dat den dere would hv been no difference between God and a human being.Actually ram had already knew dat sita will be kidnapped by ravan so he kept da real sita wid Agnidev.da lady whom ravan kidnapped was actually a reflection of sita and not real sita.Now how dis happened,don't ask me?he is God,he can do anything.If he can recognise sati in da form of sita den why can't he do dis?So after da war got over and ravan was killed,he brought da real sita bak frm agni.some chauvinistic men thought dat sita spent one year wid ravan so ram told her 2 do agnipariksha.I am telling all dis bcoz dis agnipariksha incident was not mentioned in neither Valmiki's Ramayan nor Tulsidas Ramayan.

This incident has been given in Tulsidas's Ramcharitmanas:

Ramcharitmanas's Aranya Kand:

"Lachiman gaye banahi jaba lena mool phala kanda

Janaksuta sana bole bihasi kripa sukha brnda"

When Lakshman had gone to the woods to gather roots, fruits and bulbs, Shri Ram spoke with a smile to Sita.

"Sunahu priya brata ruchira sushila, main kachu karbi lalita narlila

Tum pavak mahu karahu nivasa, jau lagi karau nisachar nasa

Jabahi Rama saba kaha bakhani, prabhu pada dhari hiya anala samani

Nijapratibinba rakhi taha Sita, taisai sila rupa subinita"

Listen, my darling, who have been staunch in the holy vow of fidelity to me and are so virtuous in conduct: I am going to act a lovely human part. Abide in fire until I have completed the destruction of the demons. No sooner had Rama told Her everything in detail than She impressed the image of the Lord's feet on Her heart and entered into the fire, leaving with Him only of a shadow of Hers, though precisely of the same appearance and the same amiable and gentle disposition.

This following is given in the Lanka Kand during the time of the Agnipariksha:

"Sita prathama anala mahu rakhi, pragata kinhi chaha antara sakhi"

- The real Sita had previously been lodged in fire. Shri Ram now sought to bring Her back to light.

Both Ramcharitmanasand Adhyatma Ramayana have this version.

Lord Rama knew very well that Mother Sita is the purest in all the three lokas ("Teeno loko mein param punita"). Ravan could never have even touched her. But as per Valmiki Ramayan Ramji wanted to prove to the whole world that Sita is completely pure. He Himself never doubted her.
