Hey people Punar Vivaah is a truly refreshing n adorable concept and the show has also started to pick up in the TRP race (Touchwood) but followin facts are quite disturbin as they kinda degrade women n might giv a wrong message to the society :

1. Aarti is forced to change her name to Arpita, thus having to put aside her self respect for the sake of tradition.
2. When prateik begins the conversation to ask permission for Paridhi's work with all the good words about women's development and their contribution to the society his father like sooo rudely says 'Jiska Kaam Usi Ko Sajhe' n blah blah blah... which wud mean that women shud restrict themselves to household chores and child care only!
3. Yash changes Ansh's school without asking Aarti, let alone seeking her permission, as if she doesn't exist!...Duhh! And later he says that he never changes his decisions.. :(

The end.. the show shud not be demeaning to a particular gender and shud rather work towards the better things such as equality in decision making, womens' empowerment etc.. and though politely of course but even Aarti shud be shown expressin her thoughts n ideas as an indipendent individual. C'mon i mean its 21st century and the head of the country happens to be a female too. Not only wud the incorporation of such a track bring in gud numbers but wud also portray a progressive social change.. Hope the CVs take care in the future.

P.S. : Guys plz dont get me wrong.. wid the above article I do not mean that Yash is arrogant or something but I just wish that he cud let his wife take some essential decisions equally.. ALSO AS A WOMAN MYSELF I DO NOT MEAN THAT HOUSEHOLD CHORES OR LOOKIN AFTER KIDS IS AN EASY TASK OR WOMEN SHUD STOP DOIN IT.. MY MOM IS A HOMEMAKER AND I TRULY VALUE HER CONTRIBUTION IN MY UPBRINGING. Its just a sincere effort to prevent such a lovely show from deviating from its core concept and showcasing women as lower to men .. :)
