if someone can help me with it pls let me know

there is an article in today's newspaper abt te age of anxiety

I m someone who suffers from anxiety, i dont know the level it has reached but i would surely love to be cured of it n the constant worry.

The article tells abt an example with how a person who has accomplished a good life is still worried and anxious in his life - i am pretty much Zero on that self actualization chart.

Umm.. what do u think causes anxiety other than the fact that we are thinking TOO much

As per my experiance necessities do not create much anxieties ..with the past, anxiety enters...but our every choice is ultimate in a sense and its always a gamble...becos nothing is certain that why everybody suffers from anxiety but its true that as soon as anxiety begins ,it make ppl uneasy!! Sometime I feel anxiety is : half of the time we worried about the other half of the time. I think we can reduce our anxieties by reduce one desire to another desire. 😊

its like when u r feelin calm and then al of a sudden a feelin creeps in, what about the next time when anxiety comes up - then what - and the cycle continues. I cant step out of my house :| to the market or anywhere without telling myself that I am OK - though it doesnt help always

I, sometimes can feel my heart POUNDING when I'm tensed :( ...and I also fidget, when I'm anxious.. :/
...The only solution for anxiety is to just relax, and be optimistic & confident about anything and everything. It's working for me.. whenever I realise I'm getting nervous I'll think "whatever happens, I'm gonna go through it" yada yada..

FEAR.. fear is another reason.. my father always tells me not to fear ANYTHING, when you dont fear...even if you think too much, it wont affect yor health. You need to think cooly, even if you think too much..

I know what you mean. I get anxiety pangs pretty frequently too and only recently have I seen a doctor about it. He gave me very mild medication because I'm pretty finicky about side effects, but anyway, the point is that it can get pretty annoying and when it happens all you want is for the sensation to leave you ASAP.

Anxiety can really be triggered by a range of things - from very minute to very intense. The root cause, of course, is the tendency to think too much and over analyze things in your head. For example you may have had a little row with your parents and you may be a little too worried about the consequences - this happens with me a lot.

I think trying to figure out a persistent trigger can be the first step towards getting better. Once you know what exactly causes pangs in you, you can work towards eliminating it eventually.

I've realized the root of all my anxiety comes down to thinking too much. I overwork my thinking cells more than i should. In certain situations i tend to think about every possible consequences and how each consequence can be dealt with, which further increases the level of my anxiety. Pretty damn annoying this shit is, so what i do now is deal with the happenings like the optimistic buzz that i am and move the damn on! ^-^

I feel the base of all problems comes down to thinking too much - so in a sense you are digging your own shit hell. 😆
