These are the top trends in India on twitter right now..

Aamir Khan might be charging Star Plus a hefty amount for doing this show, but his 90 minutes will get the message across to millions of people, something that would take the Government and NGOs a lot more resources to achieve..Hats off to the whole team of Satyamev Jayate, finally, someone is doing reality shows the right way!

Satyamev Jayate, my Sunday morning are yours now..😊

I'm glad that someone with star power has had the courage and the endurance to stay the course and make an honest yet watchable show with hard hitting truths...I hope this changes peoples' hearts and attitudes and the change remains long after the show ends...

Nice to see u Tanu!

Right now all the 7 trending topics r related to SMJ and yeah Aamir is charging 3 crores per episode but he cud have charged that for any show, seeing his stardom any channel wud have happily paid him that amount, the important thing is that he chose to do this show :) i loved how well informed and well researched he was. Also, he didn't try to sensationalize anything and that was definitely a master stroke and the facts that Haryana's minister Karminder Kaur shared really scared me.
There ppl like KRK on twitter that r doing their best to discredit Aamir and SMJ team but all i cud say to ppl like him is that don't forget Rang De Basanti played a very big part in re-opening Jessica Lal Murder case years ago and judging frm the first episode of SMJ we can safely say that it can and will bring abount a positive change in Indian Society and like someone in the episode said "even if they cud save one girl child, it wud be worth all the efforts"

Taking Aamir's popularity into consideration, any channel will be ready to pay him a huuuge amount..But Aamir should be really appreciated for doin dis show.. It is being telecasted in 8 different languages n even on DD National.. So his message will reach villages also.. His purpose will be fulfilled if he brings a minute change in people's thinking.. I'm sooo looking forward for d next episode..
Hats off Aamir..!! Yet again u proved dat u r a class apart..

its his production so he is not charging for it... He is d producer of the show... hats of to ds man who rejected d chance of making easy money... he could made it with KBC as it was offered to him before by Star but he chose to do something like this... a much needed show... he is not not only a GR8 actor but a gr8 human being too ... love u AAMIR .. have all my respect .. may GOD bless u
