Archu can never or will have a thinking brain.She is one of those poor souls who is emotionally bonded. I am sure in the coming up epis she will surely ask Purvi why the hell she is sad and do the math right.At that party Archu was seeing Ovi was the very first time. She is seeing her daughter after 18 years. For a mother the emotions coming out cannot be compared to anything else.Archu being the emotional one ,her focus was fully on Ovi at that moment.Even though she might have glanced at Purvi but that over flowing emotions for Ovi is bound to take preference.After all she is a mother.Archu is someone who does not differentiate on the terms of "blood is thicker than water" and hence Purvi loves Archu so much and so is the case with Manav as well. But when Archu sees Purvi now she will make out something is fishy with her and she will find out the mess.

One thing is for sure Arjun might not be spared ay Archu even if he is spared by Manav. She becomes total Jhansi when it comes to her daughters life.Arjun has a major part of convincing Archu first which is very essential for him for getting back Purvi.

No one can distrust Archana's love for Purvi and yes, a mother's feelings on seeing her daughter for the first time overpowers everything else. Not at the party, before the party is what I meant but she does have the excuse of having too much on her plate right now and not being there at Sulo's house, she may not have realized what was going on with Purvi.
