I also agree with everyone else for the most part. I think most of the forum members think this way... while Khushi's quirks and antics are funny, when done every single episode, it has the potential to be annoying because you're just like "she's at it again??".

In terms of what Arnav fell for, I think a part of him did fall for her pagalpan because it always amazes him when she acts like that. It's different from what he's used to. And, he's usually left in some sort of awe or disbelief that makes him go 'unbelievable' and many guys tend to find that cute and endearing (well, until it reaches the point of annoyance).

It kind of reminds me of the relationship of SRK-Kajol in K3G. Idk if I'm the only one & maybe it's because I've watched that movie more than a girl should, but Kajol's character in K3G had a similar quirk and that's what SRK's character fell for too (gamla vs vase scenes). Not to mention her feisty spirit, beauty, maturity, etc etc.

I also don't agree with how her family always tries to apologize for her behavior, but they also live by old traditions. In my family I get called out sometimes if I try to speak too out of turn, even though none of it is malicious, in the middle of the 'elders' , even though I'm in my 20s. I think that's pretty typical of all desi families. Because no matter how old Khushi is - she's still younger than them and they probably feel she shouldn't say anything if they're not, etc etc.

Silliness is just a word, people use to define khushi when they dont understand her or believe in her.

Well, my mom used to say, tere jaisi ulti khopri se kaun shaadi karega? Apparently, a lot of people. Since I came to Canada, this exotic (or so they think) birdie never lacked for date. Then I got married. My hubby says as much my OTT filmy attitude drives him nuts, he is never bored. Life is funny when I'm around. Khushi is Khushi because she is OTT filmy. ASR fell in love with her because of that. He never lacked serious, sophisticated women for company. But love came into his life through Khushi. So what if she is silly? Life is serious enough... Specially her life. A little bit of smile goes a long way.

My mother comments how young men prefer quiet, sensible, lady like girls and that I really should stop being silly 😆 I actually think it's pretty cool how Arnav is attracted to Khushi because of her personality. Yes I'm a hopeless romantic 😳

Lol... trust me.. I am speaking from my personal experience. If a guy truly loves you, he will not try to change you. If someone tries to change you then he never loved the real you in the first place. You are right. My husband calls me there times a day when I go to my mayka... Because having fun makes otherwise serious life easier to handle... :D
