OK, so u r upset that Na bole tum does not hv good trps, and PV does! u can vent ur frustration out in Na bole tum forum, instead of coming here, rt?
And, please refrain from pointing ur fingers at any country or its people. I can give u numerous examples of shows all over the world which are based on similar subjects and do well. That does not mean people enjoy them or follow those practices in reality! I am sure u know its not good to point fingers at any country. Many people might take offense!

I don't get why if people don't like this show, they just don't stop watching it instead of making insulting posts like this one.😡
Not all shows are perfect, and personally, I find the shows that have so-called strong script and acting kind of boring. A show needs to have a good storyline, and PV has that. Yes, the saas may be evil to the core, but Aarti's first MIL was not and this shows the difference in society...evil MILs do exist, along with good ones, and Aarti's experience/experiencing both. Her real strength and courage will be shown in how she deals with Gayatri.

come on give me a break...this show can still have good trp without all this crap of locking up a child and aarti crying instead of doing something to rescue her son.
what would have happened to the show or its trp if aarti had told gayatri to go into fasting mode and release ansh...i think we would have all loved her to the core...not even a single preson in the family would have felt bad for gayatri...

Yes, I understand what you're saying dear, but the culture of the west is different so we can't expect Indian shows to be like the ones from the west.😳 There is something beautiful about both cultures. Yes, the women in western shows are definitely a lot more assertive and confident than women in Indian shows, but that shows the difference in both cultures, na? Indian women are softer, gentler, and more patient, whereas western women, or even Indian women who grew up in the west, tend to be more assertive and argumentative. It's not necessarily a bad thing when used in the right situations, but one can't change a whole culture and there are both positives and negatives in western and eastern cultures.
PV viewers from the west may be a bit annoyed with how Indian women are portrayed in shows, but those living in India, especially in the villages, will relate more with these characters. I think we should watch these shows with an open mind and not judge the women characters who weep and beg for justice, because that's how culture in India is. DILs are expected to be extremely submissive to their in-laws, and many many many of them are in real life, not just in shows.
The confidence and strength of women in Indian shows is portrayed through diplomacy and ability to win the love of the entire family in the long run. Indian women are not like many American women who walk out of a marriage after meeting one obstacle with the in-laws. They show immense strength and courage to win the respect of their new family, including the husband and in-laws, and there is some beauty in that also though many may not agree.
Of course, many times Indian shows go overboard with screaming MILs and weak DILs, but Punar Vivah has not yet reached that stage and I hope it never will. For now, what they shows has been very realistic. I have seen it happen in real life.

Firstly, it's rude to tell people not to watch the show simply because they are expressing the problems that they have with it. Not everyone is going to simply watch the show and not criticise it at times.

If people truly liked this show, then they should have no problem with others coming here and talking about the issues that the show could resolve.

I'm sure that there are many of us who want to see a show where the women and children are not subjected to constant abuse and the negative characters receive their comeuppance throughout the show instead of at the end where all of a sudden, they have seen the light and are now good people.
