I disagree, SINAL MU is in no way going to save the face of this show and neither does it signify a new beginning for Kunal Chopra.
So what is it Kunal has still not learnt anything? He nearly lost his wife and he has still not learnt anything? He still needs 'zor ka jhatka'.If the CV's indeed still remember this show is about Kunal Chopra and plan to do any justice to the man they should show him on the forefront in the whole SeeRav issue. This track does have a lot of potential to showcase Kunal as a responsible brother ,son and not just a head in the clouds expectant father.
Kunal has always been shown as a loving son and brother but responsible not exactly, sometime due to his own lack of motivation or sometimes due to long drawn out false cases,
Gaurav has been the sole reliable breadwinner for the Chopra clan in a long while.
I am not for Kunal not supporting Siddhi, as per the promo he asks her for proofs which is pretty logical, this is a big issue you cannot just blindly accept what one says be it your wife and no matter how much you trust her. After all this is not a question about his and Siddhi's life that he can take a decision based on his gut feeling alone.Earlier when everyone accused Siddhi in Raveena's case , he supported her even then he had his reasons, he knew how much she had struggled to get the marriage going. Here he does not know anything and the issue is far more grave. He cannot completely bank on a spoken word and set about to ruin his brothers marriage.
Kunal does trust Siddhi and he knows her enough to know she will not make baseless accusations, but that does not eliminate the need for actual proofs.Even if Siddhi fails to establish Gaurav's guilt the first time, Kunal could be shown to uncover the truth with proofs and then confront Gaurav.
EMA's have always to date been handled from a woman's perspective , why not show how a man handles the situation? Siddhi did her part , inform Seema , now let Kunal take the reins, he knows his wife's delicate state , so ideally he should assure her he will do the needful and do it.Thats the only way to redeem the man.
Our creativity maybe limited but I am sure if the creatives of the show happily call themselves CREATIVE's then they must do something that makes them worthy of that title.
The whole MU approach would just show the man volatile and unreliable. Then they might as well show Siddhi divorce him and end the show showing a message 'We tried to give Kunal Chopra a fresh lease in life but we failed. We regret any inconvience caused'.
