I was just wondering if a big chested woman, is a beauty ideal in India?

actually this is just something I've noticed, I mean folks like Bipasha, Ayesha, Kangana, etc, got breast implants, but was this common with older heroines as well? I mean back in the 70s/80/s?

There've been a couple of women in the last decade, who have admitted to having had breast augmentations.

Now I'm wondering if big breast are something India has copied from the west?

I mean there have been plenty of flat chested women such as

Aishwarya Rai, Karisma Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Sonali Bendre, Raveena Tandon, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor

So are big breasts something Indian audiences genuinely look forward to, or is it just something that came while aping the west?

madhuri dixit said something to the effect, she started to get offers once she had a boob job. And I think the whole katrina kaif craze has much to do with her body, rather than her acting and average facial features... she is not stick skinny!
