Which DIRECTORS do you TRUST now and WHY?!

😉😊 I think this will be a good topic to reflect a little. So many directors who used to make good films are not considered to be trustworthy anymore. I feel bad for one of my former favorites, SLB. He used to be good once upon a time. I hate to think what his upcoming film with Kareena and Ranveer will be like. It is a good cast, but will he mess up the film? And we don't hear anything about Mani Ratnam or Ashtoush Gowariker anymore. Because of their previous failures, they probably are not attempting a new film anytime soon. The main question, which DIRECTORS do you TRUST now to make good films? How will they win back your CONFIDENCE?

I like all these new directors.. directors of Pyar ka punchnama, dibakar bannerjee, shoojit Sarcar (Vicky Donor) they are new and they know what the audience wants ..Nupur Asthana, Habib Faisal..they are all pretty talented.. Tigmanshu Dhulia..

some of the Bhatt camp diretors are good too.. Kunal Deshmukh, Mohit.. etc..

from the old ones.. Imtiaz has a lot of potential If he uses it the right way..even though I loved Rockstar it's not something he makes.. Mani Ratnam is good God knows what happened to him in Raavan..😕 sometimes Anees Bazmee is good too..

I trust rajkumar hirani, dibakar banarjee, sriram raghavan...they have never disappointed me...😃

But i do like mani ratnam, Imitiaz ali aswell...i feel i just "get" their kind of cinema...

nobody! not wise to trust directors as they are dictated themselves by the money and fame!

i like simple movies.. i don't even like songs in the movies nowadays!

yesterday, i was watching bheja fry. i wonder why don't we make those kind of movies nowadays. vicky donor was pretty good too! as was stanley ka dabba..

and i liked rocket singh too. about the only movie of ranbir that i actually liked..

RajKumar Hirani for sure. I also liked many of Milan Luthra's works like Taxi No 9211, OATIM.

The directors who have NEVER disappointed me till date are Rajkumar Hirani and Karan Johar.

Karan Johar didn't even direct KHNH.. Nikhil Advani did..😆 did you mean KKHH?
