That is how I feel after today's episode. There was just so much going on that made my blood boil, with only snatches of any glimmer of positivity. Krishna is surrounded by a bunch of morons and imbeciles. I wish she could just move into the BDO bungalow by herself. There was also that logical loophole where people didn't stress on the medical grounds enough, only for the sake of the drama to grow. I really don't like when story writers do that. But seeing as this is the first time it has happened on AB, I will forgive it as long as there is a convincing redemption.
This was especially apparent in the case of Babloo, whose character I mourn from the bottom of my heart. Bas ek hafta mein kya se kya ho gaya! 😭😭 I am left wondering if this is the same Babloo who not so long ago was the instigator of the Prishna relationship finding its footing and all of a sudden he agrees with his mother? Do you think maybe he is jealous? Not in the sense that he loves Krishna (ew) but in the sense that he feels he has done so much more for her and she went and listened to Pintu's pleas? But to justify his behaviour, I guess up until now he was sort of a larger than life character and in this time of trouble, his weaknesses are being revealed. This actually links quite well to why he never left home despite seeming to despise his father so much.
The whole Singh family reunion was nothing short of nauseating. TTS with his fake happiness, Babloo with his sudden spinelessness and Ganga, who should just never open her mouth...ever. And the fact that it took TTS asking Pintu how she got out for him to even acknowledge Krishna was too much. While they are merry-making, with almost no credit to the person who made it happen (save for Pintu's acknowledgment that they had misunderstood her), Krishna is getting torn down by her own mother and brother at home.
One of the only uplifting scenes of today's episode was the one between Krishna and Chanchal. I love how Chanchal is the first person, who does not tell Krishna what she should do or tear her down for her choices, but asks her how she feels. This gives Krishna a chance to state her stance out loud and feel confidence in it her decisions once again. I loved this scene!
That DC needs to get his head out of his A*S. He basically was ribbing Krishna for undermining his authority in the matter. As long as she was listening to him and doing what he said, making th investigation look smooth, he was happy with her. But the minute she does something against his judgment, he starts off again. Like his tareef even means anything to Krishna! The only thing that matters to her is getting the truth out in a lawful way and she has gone about doing just that. But as she said to Chanchal, she is ready for the consequences, though the complete unfairness of the DC does baffle her. How can an IAS officer be so incredibly dense?
Ugh. More Singh drama after that and to make our Monday evening extra frustrating, throw in BDP! Yay. Are we really going back to the Prishna-Pinky triangle...like REALLY? I was having a Feb. flashback when that was happening, Pinky still wants Pintu after everything he has done to her? I know Pinky has many faults but I did not realise that low self-esteem was one of them!
Pintu takes prasad as a peace offering to Krishna. He asks her how things are at the office...NOT GREAT, GENIUS! 😡 I mean shouldn't his first order of business been an apology for what he said and did to her, for the position he put her in? I hope this is just the beginning of his redemption because I am not totally convinced. He is leagues better than the rest of his weak, ungrateful family but it still doesn't feel right for him to just start where they left off as though all those heinous thins he said never happened. The precap suggests that Krishna took the prasad, but why on earth would she offer it to her caustic mother? Seems like an idiotic decision.
And someone PLEASE drag him back to Madan's house. The prodigal son needs a JOB before he takes up domicile in the nut house again. Please don't take that away from us because we have been waiting for it so patiently!
Precap: Pintu at Krishna's house with a paper in his hand...the bail papers, I imagine? I guess he gets another chance at redemption. Do us proud Pintu Singh! 👍🏼
