This was not a simple case of amnesia. Two-year-old Krish, the child star of Mamta,
was so involved with his role and his on-screen mother that he failed to recognise his real-life mother
when she paid him a surprise visit on the sets. Krish plays actress Preeti Puri's son with conviction
in Mamta.

Krish is a popular kid on the sets and has everyone pampering him.
But recently, the little devil was so baffled to see his mother on the sets, that he simply overlooked her.
To add to his bafflement, both his on-screen and off-screen mothers are called Preeti.
He was affectionately teased by all unit members as a result, all of who kept asking him the names
of his on-screen and off-screen mothers. The toddler who is otherwise so full of sass,
was tongue-tied for a change.

When two-year-old Krish joined Zee TV's Mamta last year,
he certainly made heads turn on the sets. The tiny tot made sure
he got his share of pampering! And now, joining in the fun will be Prachi,
Krish's baby sister, who's barely ten months old. In fact, the toddler
was quite thrilled to face the camera. Although she takes time to
get used to the cast and crew, once she makes friends she simply
refuses to let go of her favourite people. And, just like big bro Krish,
Prachi also gets angry at the slightest provocation...
