Spice it up and grab the eyeballs thats the mantra for General Entertainment Channels (GECs).As IPL 5 moves up the popularity quotient,the daily soaps are feeling the heat.The latest TRP ratings for the week ending April 25 shows how much IPL affected the shows aired on GECs.SET Max sustained its numero uno position with 344 GRPs,Star Plus gained 249,(last week it gained 262),Zee gained 214 GRPs,Sony TV gained from (from last weeks 206) 209 GRPs.and Colors is number 4 with 194 GRPs.GECs are now taking the predictable route adding dramatic twists in the storylines.
