Vishal-Shekhar, the famous composer duo, will be scoring the music for the Hindi remake of Vettai.

While the Tamil version had peppy numbers by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the makers thought Vishal and Shekhar would be the apt choice for the Bollywood version considering their track record last year, with hits like Chammak Challo.

While Lingusamy will be directing the Hindi remake as well, Ali Zafar and Shahid Kapoor have been signed on to play Madhavan and Arya's roles respectively. Ileana too has been reportedly signed on opposite Shahid.
