Shahid to start Vettai in june

Earlier, Shahid had declined the project because of Linguswamy's very limited grasp of Hindi. Prasoon Joshi is now likely to pen the dialogues, working in tandem with the dialog writer of the original to ensure the essence of the Tamil dialogs is not lost in translation. Production is slated to start in June. Linguswamy admits to being challenged with his Hindi language skills. "I cannot communicate in Hindi," he told TOI. "And the dialogues were not being translated properly. That was the main problem. Now my producer UTV is hiring a dialogue writer of their choice. That writer will be getting together with the Tamil dialogue writer of 'Vettai' to get the essence of the dialogues." Pakistan's musician-actor Ali Zafar will co-star in the film playing Shahid's elder brother, and Linguswamy is keen to sign on Ileana D'Cruz as female lead.

"We've already finalized Ali and Shahid for brothers roles. Ileana D'Cruz is almost finalized ," said Linguswamy.

Ileana is not a good choice. May be they should opt for Deepika Padukone.

Just watched Vettai..not a bad movie at all..a family movie with action & comedy nicely mixed together..just wish that the climax had been better...was not on par with the way the previous two killings were done...hope they improve it in the hindi version...😊
