Good topic to discus!!!
I personally felt, it was meaningless emotions, literally meaningless. I feel that Rishi character has completely lost sting, sheen, and engima and it is getting rather a confusing character for me. I found it very irrational to see Rishi giving Kutumb the mother's post and finding the deprived mother's love and affection in Kutumb. This can't be too absurd than this ?
Here is Kutumb who often ill treats him and never was the one to acknowledge his good deeds and care for the family, only showered her hatred and curse on him, and look at him, he is harping about getting the motherly love. Apart from Indu and Ishaan, he got no love or affection from the Sharmas, but he is hell bent to credit each and everyone for that.
So, I thought the whole crying episode of Rishi was superfluous and incoherent. When his mother was sent to jail, he had no emotions, but today for no reason he got emotional and bucketful of tears for kutumb.
The worst part for me, Rishi saying he would earn and keep his salary in her hands, oh god! Joru ka ghulam was fine for me, but he is turning out to be saasuma ka ghuluam.

@bold- i thought the same thing! i was happy when he said he would get a job and work! but when he said give the salary to you and do your seva, i was like do inshi always have to slave for these ppl, who really don't even deserve their unconditional loyalty, and love (in my opinion)

and i personally laughed at the inder-kutumb scene...like the way rishi was talking about a ma's godh and all, i thought inder would follow suit and also put his head in kutumb's lap 🤣...and then kutumb would say "main aap ki maa thodi na hoon" 😆

its funny that the people who have always taken care of her have to give her so much bhaav...and those who dont do anything, get forgiveness regardless of what they do

Bold : Agree with you...He saw how upset Indira was with Kutumb's words and rejection of
their marriage..and I think he was desperately trying to get her approval...

I have mixed thoughts regarding his tears..They may not be totally the result of his need to get
motherly affection but,his need to get accepted in Indira's life,in the Sharma house...as he still
carries the guilt of being the reason for their pain as Kutumb accused him of...
first because of Vidith and next indirectly for Mandira as Sameer is his brother...

I didn't have issues with the Rishi-Kutumb scene except for this part. Hearing him say that he will keep his salary in her hands was disturbing. Like us, I don't think Indu would approve of him saying such a thing. HD is gonna become like "Bhagonwali"- one of the main focuses of it was the suffering of a son-in-law due to his wife's bonehead family. I think it's funny that all the Zee shows I seriously follow have to do with this concept😆.

After yesterday's episode, i seriously missed ricky diwan. When everyone in this forum was asking for a come back of ricky, i was skeptical coz, i was very comfortable with rishi. But after yesterday rishi cried, this roop of rishi suffocates me.

On an after tought, why did rishi say "Tere pyaar mein kya kya nahi kiya hitler". Kya usne sasuma ko patane ke vaste roke dikhaya tha kya? 😉. Does it also summarize everything he did so far in her love. Does this indirectly point towards some -ve twists?
