In todays episode, rishi cries in front of kutumb, requesting her to forgive them and accept them. My question is, does that call for tears in rishi's eyes. Before this rishi cried twice. Once when Indira confessed her love in the hospital (happy tears) and second one, few days back when indira decided that they cant marry (sad tears). In both the situation it was totally worthy and i felt a tug at my heart seeing him cry.

But today, did the situation call for tears? Of course it was imp to pacify kutumb, but why tears. i have nothing against males crying, in fact I totally like males crying and showing their emotions. It makes them look more approachable and consolable too, than when they dont. Infact crying relives pent up emotions, which is imp. But today when rishi cried, i was laughing. If kutumb was a sensible lady and a good mother i wouldnt have felt this so unworthy.

There is an instinct in a woman to love most her own child - and an instinct to make any child who needs her love, her own 😳

But in Rishi 😍 case he is the child that treated any mother as his own. Be it Amma 😳 or Kutumb.

Hats off to Rishi 😍 His tears are worthy in my books. I can't help but ❤️ him more for the respect he has shown to Kutumb even if she was wrong 😳

But I do think Rishi instead of thinking-realising the real situations and the facts was just taking Kutumbh as his mom and nothing else that is why he said Tere pyar mein kya kya na kiya Hitler.

mujhe woh pura scene acha nahin laga. i agree kutum ko manana jaroori tha, lekin aise? esply kyunki kutum ko rishi ki na toh kadr hai aur na hi koi respect. dono taraf se equal hona chaiye. nahin?
equal nahi bhi ho...ek tarafa toh na ho

but rishi will do anything for indira.

he is doing this only for indira.that's all.

indira also wanted to do that.but uska hitlerpana beech main aaya.

after this scene -- his dialogue proves that.

LOL i dont think this scene was supposed to be as complex as its being made out to be...the guy has been deprived of motherly affection...he knows how important kutumb's approval and happiness with this marriage is for indira and being a guy in love with her, whoever's important for her is important for him...i liked the scene

and i personally laughed at the inder-kutumb scene...like the way rishi was talking about a ma's godh and all, i thought inder would follow suit and also put his head in kutumb's lap 🤣...and then kutumb would say "main aap ki maa thodi na hoon" 😆

its funny that the people who have always taken care of her have to give her so much bhaav...and those who dont do anything, get forgiveness regardless of what they do

@Dhanya..

Good topic to discus!!!
I personally felt, it was meaningless emotions, literally meaningless. I feel that Rishi character has completely lost sting, sheen, and engima and it is getting rather a confusing character for me. I found it very irrational to see Rishi giving Kutumb the mother's post and finding the deprived mother's love and affection in Kutumb. This can't be too absurd than this ?
Here is Kutumb who often ill treats him and never was the one to acknowledge his good deeds and care for the family, only showered her hatred and curse on him, and look at him, he is harping about getting the motherly love. Apart from Indu and Ishaan, he got no love or affection from the Sharmas, but he is hell bent to credit each and everyone for that.
So, I thought the whole crying episode of Rishi was superfluous and incoherent. When his mother was sent to jail, he had no emotions, but today for no reason he got emotional and bucketful of tears for kutumb.
The worst part for me, Rishi saying he would earn and keep his salary in her hands, oh god! Joru ka ghulam was fine for me, but he is turning out to be saasuma ka ghuluam.
