Hey guyss...
OKay soo I personally haven't been able to give my full time to DEK forum because of school but Jyo is doing a fab job in taking my place for a while..filling in... I do check back now and again and I notice a few things going on...and Jyo and I both feel it needs to be addressed.
1. The Issue of Repeated Topics
There are WAY TO MANY repeated topics going on in the forum. WAY TO MANY. Jyo and I are the ones that merge repeated topics together but sometimes it gets to be to stressful on us, trying to keep everyone happy, especially when we personally have our own lives and our own hectic schedules in place. You guys HAVE TO UNDERSTAND that when DT creates rules, its not just for fun and games, but there are reasons! One of which is that it becomes difficult for us personally to have to deal with our own lives, plus repeated posts and and silly spamming and disputes on the forums. Things that are not even worth our time because they are things MOST of you ALREADY KNOW! We shouldn't have to be dealing with such trivial issues at all. Anyways coming back on track:
PLEASE stop creating repeated topics! If you notice someone has already posted something similar to what you want to post, then PLEASE do not take out another full post to repeat the same exact thing! If it is TRULY by accident, then simply edit the title of your created post with something like (Mods please close) and leave a note stating that its repeated and for us to please close it. OR you can report your own post and say to close. Other members can also use the report button to do the same. Jyo and I have been merging posts up till now that were similar in nature but members are creating 5 to 6 similar posts, some with at least 4 or 5 pages to them, count it and we literally merge nearly a 100 posts for the SAME TOPIC! We can do this for simple topics with one or two posts, but when it gets to nearly 100 posts..IT BECOMES STRESSFUL FOR US! PLease have some mercy on your DT đ Do us a BIG favor, and STOP with the repeated topics. From now on, if we see 4 or 5 repeated topics, we will just to what most forum DT's do and that is keep the FIRST one opened OR the one with the most posts open and the close the others. We wont even bother to merge.
This applies to RANK related topics, Suggestions to CV's, etcs..If you want to say something about Ranks, then put it in the OFFICIAL "Discuss all ranks here" Post! If its too far back in the apges to search for it, then use the SEARCH BOX at the top left hand corner under INDIA FORUMS. Put the title in and the post will come up! This applies to every topic we have already said "Discuss Here too" :

Stop taking out another post for it because those things have a place! From now on, if we see Topics on Ranks and anything we said Discuss Here too previously, and the post contains over 3 pages in reply, we are CLOSING IT! Not even bothering to merge.
2. PRIASH Topics!
NO DISCUSSION OF ACTORS PERSONAL LIFE ON THE FORUM! Its not allowed at all! I closed at least 4 topics on PRIASH break up today, and if you saw your post related to it closed without a note, its because it isn't allowed and im not bothering to write the same note on all 4 topics. Im making it clear HERE. Please guys, do NOT make posts discussing actors break ups and get togethers, because its their personal life. Unless the actors are confirmed to be getting married or divorcing and its of that importance, trivial: They got together and they broke up posts, ARE NOT ALLOWED.
This is because as I said before, its their PERSONAL LIFE and DEK Forum isn't meant for discussing the relationship between the actors and what not. Also, members believe it or not, take things seriously and it causes tension to them, some information is taken to out of context by some members and we have to be considerate.
If you guys want to discuss PRIASH, then you can discuss them in the Ashish Appreciation thread or the Priyal App. thread, OR you can create a couples appreciation thread in the Celebrity Fan Clubs forum. BUT DO NOT take topics out on the forum, as its cluttering the forum as well, spreading rumors, and overhyping.
3. Problem Posts and Members:
If You all see members being RUDE or INCONSIDERATE or causing probs, then REPORT THEM to DT by PM or by REPORTING THE POST but do not try to solve the problems yourself!
Other points:
One liner posts, things that dont spark a legit discussion just are simply small thoughts one line thoughts can be posted in the Daily Epi Discussion Thread
New Members, PLEASE search box or use archives in the announcement section to look for Member Intro thread, and post your intro's THERE, do not take out new topics sayin you are new...or just jump into the discussions
Please refrain from making topics asking for Episode updates. If the Epi Update isn't up, someone can just pm DT or PM the updater asking when it will be up, OR if its Really late in the game and its not up, then PM the BACK UP UPDATER for the day, and ask kindly if they can update, but do NOT take out posts asking for updates!

OKAY for now, thats all I have to say and Im truly sorry if this note sounds harsh but it is REALLY necessary.
This forum is GREAT and Jyo and I LOVE YOU GUYS! But some issues are getting to out of hand and we had to make it clear. Jyo and I aren't some machines that are constantly on IF and taking care and clearning the forum .. and please dont take advantage of the fact either that we merge your posts and don't immediatly close. Please dont think "Oh they will merge it, let me just create the topic." Please be considerate of us as well and understand we CANNOT merge and close so many topics just like that. Its a tedious and labarous job It really does take a lot of time and we dont have that much time! We shouldn't have to be even doing that! You all should take care not to break TRIVIAL IF rules!
Okay im done with my shpeal..once again I apologize if this sounded harsh, but I hope you all will take it into account as you did the Character Bashing Issue and humbly oblige! And I know you all will because you guys rock !
