1st month

Next Morning

The sun was shining in their room and Armaan woke up. He looked next to him and saw Riddhima cuddled up next to him. She looked like an angel. She was hugging the teddy bear he had given her last night. With one last look at her, he went downstairs to make her coffee. That was their routine. Every morning, Armaan would make coffee for Riddhima and in turn she would make breakfast.

After he had finished making the coffee, he went back up to their room. Riddhima was not on the bed. Armaan looked around for her, but didn't see her anywhere.

A: Basket, kaha ho tum? Basket?

Funny, Riddhima was always asleep when he came with her coffee. Where was she today? Suddenly he heard groans coming from the washroom. Armaan ran to the bathroom.

A: Kya hua Basket? Tum theek ho?

Armaan asked Riddhima when she came from the washroom, her face pale.

R: Haan, main bilkul theek hoon. Meri coffee?

A: Phele tum bed par betho aur mujhe bato tumhe hua kya tha?

R: Armaan, main pregnant hoon aur pregnancy main aisa hota hain. Tum bhi ek doctor ho aur tumhe yeh pata hain.

A: Haan par main bas yeh chata hoon ki tum dono bilkul theek ro.

R: Hum dono bilkul theek hain. Aab chalo, nahi toh Dr. Keerti ki daant sunne paragi.

Armaan and Riddhima got ready for Sanjeevani and left. They headed straight for the locker room, when Dr. Shashank stopped them.

S: Good morning Dr. Riddhima.

R: Good morning Sir.

S: Mujhe abhi Dr. Riddhima se baat ne karni, apni beti Riddhima se baat karni hain. Happy Birthday Beta.

R: Thank you so much Papa. Mama kahan hain?

S: Aap ki Mama aap ka intezaar kar rahi hain canteen main.

R: Theek hain main unse mil kar aati hoon.

Riddhima leaves.

A: Good morning Papa.

S: Good morning Armaan. Acha suno mujhe aapse kuch baat karni hain.

R: yah ape itna andhera kyun hain?

M: Oye Riddhima, happy birthday.

Ra: Happy birthday from me to Ridhima.

Dr. Shashank's Cabin

S: So Armaan, how is Riddhima?

A: Riddhima is fine, Papa. Kyun?

S: Kal maine Riddhima ko Dr. Keerti se apna check-up karwata huya dekhs tha. Kya baat hain Armaan? Riddhima theek hain na?

A: (thinks about his and Riddhima's conversation in the morning)

Toh hum yeh baat sab ko kab batenge?

R: Aaj shyam mere birthday ke liye party rakhi hain na?

A: Haan par iss se humara baby ka kya lena hain? (putting his hands around her waist)

R: hum sab ko aaj raat party mein batenge. Tab tak tum please apna moun band rakhna.

A: Anything for you my Basket. (gives her a kiss on her forehead)

FLASHBACK ENDS

A: Papa, Riddhima is fine. Main aap se promise karta hoon ki agar Riddhima ko kuch hua, toh hum sab se phele aap aur Mama ko bateynge.

S: Mujhe bas apnie beti ki fikar hain. Aab hum canteen mein chalte hain. Padma ne Riddhima ke liye ek surprise tayar kiya hain.

Canteen

A: Hey everyone!

R: Armaan, main tumara intezaar kar rahi thi. Chalo cake kat te hain.

A: Chalo.
