These days all a channel wants is TRPs, and they do not give a damn to the emotional bond which a viewer develops with a show. News is, some upcoming show 'Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke' will be launching sometime around May end or early in June and will be filling up the 7.30pm slots. Though, its not the first time that an exceptionally adorable show wud be meeting its untimely end but still, following facts drown me in an ocean of gloom and despair :
1. The CVs never took care to introduce 'NORMAL' tracks in the show which cud keep eyeballs glued... i mean look-alikes, demons, poojas, yagyas.. they r all gud but its got to have a limit. We do not live in the 16th century right? Atleast they cud introduce romantic tracks in between but.. 😕.
2. The show was sooo poorly advertised.. advertising the tracks wud let people watchin other soaps know what Chhoti Bahu is all about!
3. A close look at the average ratings of all the Zee shows [ Televisiontrp.com is a nice source] reveals that Chhoti Bahu is performing hell better than many other shows on various GECs like Sajda Tere Pyar Mein, Chhal, Afsar Bitiya [ the ratings of AB are in a free fall since Krishna became a BDO] and nearly all the Sony shows inspite of the fact that it airs at 7.30pm slot.
In the end it is my sincere request to the creative heads of Zee TV to revisualise their plans and bestow Chhoti Bahu with a second lease of life.. to either launch Sapne Suhane... at a new time slot like 6.30pm or 11pm , or replace it with weaker shows like AB, Hitler Didi etc. or.. the worst change the timings of Chhoti Bahu to Mon-Fri 6.30pm slot but PLEAAASE dont shut it off. Any action in response to the above suggestions by the channel wud be higly appreciated.
With love to one and all
And Special Regards and Admiration to the most good looking person on the planet (AVINASH)
