)HI SHAMA,
i am glad to see you with such an amazing post .
i agree with you shama, this is rising issues among girls, specially teens, who deteriorate their health just because they have misconception that looking healthy means looking fat.
i am impressed you brought this issue in forum.

yes i do prefer madhuri over size zero kareena, i mean i love her in jab we met but in tashan , she made me goes yucks. if you see every other beautiful celebs like deepika, katrina, krishten, jennifer austen and my favorite rihana, they all have curvy body and looks gorgeous than those so called size zeroes. there is difference b/w obese and healthy.
very oftenly , people have misconception regarding looking healthy or looking fat.
I have a personal experience regarding this fact. My very close friend she was healthy in beginning. HER weight was little more than mine but her chubby face suits her. but two years back something happens to her and she started feeling that she looks fat and now she looks like stick and totally spoiled the glow of her face, her health also worsens. her constant dieting just spoils her looks and studies also.
so i do prefer that one should never diet. switch from junk to healthy if you want to stay fit.
starving is never a solution to weight problem. and i am totally against to those stick figure and lean actresses on television because they set examples for other girls and some thick headed girls follow them blindly in order to look attractive,
about priyal, she looks fab and i do don't find her over weight. she looks amazing or rather slim in westerns and gorgeous in saree. we can't judge her look in one over sized , badly altered anarkali. and i am glad she is not starving herself to look like a stick.
being a 17 years old i can never resist chocolate and eat what i want to( even junk because i can't resist😆 except non veg) but exercise too. and that's what it needed, a balance.
she is perfect and looks amazing onscreen
but i need to mention one fact that cvs should improve manyata's wardrobe as she is lead and princess. its really weird that they have such an awesome wardrobe for second lead i.e j and not for lead. priyal will look rocking in j's wardrobe.
awesome post once again shama,

love wendy

Thank you dear!!! Yes, I completely agree, we should eat in moderation and eat whatever we want, because when we get older we will have to put limits on the food we LOVE eating now so let's enjoy what we can eat now!! 😃

Hello Wendy dear!

Thank you, I'm so glad you liked this post, it is quite different from my usual postings about DEK, LOL.

Thanks, I'm so glad you agree, it is truly an issue that is on the rise and needs to be discussed! And thanks for the lovely compliment, I thought it really important once I saw that girls were commenting on Priyal's weight and I honestly winced at it because it hurt to see such comments. I think as women we should stick together and not be negative but supportive. I don't think anyone on the forum is terrible (I hope no one was offended), but I just think we live in this society and these issues affect our thinking and conversations, some of us may not realize what we are doing privately or publicly because it has been ingrained in our thinking by society, media, peers, and any other sort of influential personal experiences. It is a serious matter and I completely agree looking healthy should NOT mean you are looking fat, it's quite the OPPOSITE.

Wendy, agreed dear, I loved Kareena in Jab We Met, she looked fabulous!! It was Tashan that grossed me out. Yes, I am glad we have girls like Katrina (who went out initially to be a model and people did not like her thinking she was not thin enough) and look at her now, she's the most successful actress in Bwood as well as one of the most beautiful, she's definitely NOT a size zero.

I feel like as girls we all have some sort of personal experience and if we remember those experiences and talked about it, perhaps we would stop ourselves from perpetuating this nasty cycle, because I think we do this unconsciously and consciously. Agreed some people just have chubby face, there is nothing wrong with that, it's sad when girls think that is fat when in fact it made them look beautiful. They truly do lose their glow and their health worsens because of crash dieting or unhealthy dieting. It's not about eating less, it's about eating healthy, completely agree there Wendy! I am sorry to hear that your friend's life as been affected so, but again, I am sure she had these thoughts because of media, and people's comments, family or peers.

Me too, I am NOT in love with the stick figures and lean actresses either because ALL girls think they should look like that (we are all created differently, we should NOT try make each other look like universal model standard size zero, that's not HEALTHY in fact it's dangerous!) Yes some girls can be thick headed, can't be blindly following such body types!

Yes as for Priyal, I don't find her over weight at all, she looks beautiful to me too! I think she looked amazing in Friday'e episode. But I like her outfits on the show, I think they need to add more variety that's all. The desi outfits she is wearing make her look beautiful and elegant, but I wish to see more of a mix like Unnati!

THanks again for the lovely compliment dear, I am so glad you liked it!,

Lots of love,

Shama
