First of all, I didn't expect the showdown to start today itself and that too, the pace it moved in...WOW !!! Now, coming to the actual scene...When I first saw the precap last week, I already had myself prepared to cry my eyes out but surprisingly, I was smiling at the end of today's epi !!!
Let's start from the beginning, Sharon reacting this way is understandable...The secret admirer issue was never really dealt with properly, in the sense that it was just left like that...Swayam said he would keep the book shut till she decides to open it and that was the end of that showdown...But that wasn't the issue for Sharon...It was the fact that he broke her trust...and today, she felt like he broke her trust yet again...We did see that no matter what Sharon felt for Swayam after the abandoned corridor scene, even though she was slowly softening up towards him...the secret admirer issue was something that she held on to...She always taunted Swayam about it every now and then...
Last week, when she saw the Sharon Corner in Swayam's cupboard and realised that there wasn't any picture after the abandoned corridor confrontation...I felt like she finally trusted him completely again as she said Swayam was a Man of his words and to hear from Tanni today that he was the one who bought those shoes for her...It opened back all those old wounds...It hurt even more cause she just trusted him again and she felt like he broke it yet again !!! And to add on to this, she hears that Tanni is the sixth dancer which made her even more mad cause she thought that Swayam was helping her dance again...it wasn't about who was the sixth dancer...It was the fact that Sharon wasn't the sixth dancer !!!
Yes, I know it wasn't Swayam's fault that Sharon assumed that he was hinting her to join the team but it isn't Sharon fault either...Everyone's human and we all assume things every now and then...She felt that Swayam understands her so well and he has always known what she wants that he would have sensed that she wanted to join the team too ...And those harsh words that she used on him, well...I'm sure everyone agrees that when your heart is broken, you tend to say a lot of things...some which makes sense, some which don't !!! It really hurt her cause I guess somewhere she felt like if he truly loved her, then why did he do this to her ?? Why did he break her trust again ?? Why did he give her false hope regarding the sixth dancer ?? And this is why we hear Sharon questioning his love for her and calling him Nothing but a Stalker !!!
Coming to Swayam, now this guy was the reason why I was going to cry but before I could even start, he did something that actually made me smile !!! Most people would have loved Swayam today...I DEFINITELY DO !!! But I know there are quite a few people who are a little startled with the fact that Swayam...SWAYAM actually said those things to Sharon !!! First of all, GOD, I'm so happy he revealed the fact that he saw her with Shivam during the party and he finally reached his breaking point...I was waiting for this for so long and finally, he let it all out today !!!
I think the problem with Swayam is the fact that we have always seen him being so PERFECT !!! A lot of us tend to forget that he is Human and he has flaws too !!! After one whole year, this Guy finally reached his breaking point and I think it was needed !! Swayam has always kept everything to himself and how long can you do that ?? There'll come a time when you can't keep it in you any more...cause, if you do, it will eat you up alive !!! Sharon had to hear those words from him...So that she realises what he really feels...The fact that he kept it to himself for so long...and he was still there for her despite knowing what he knew !!!
Yes, it's a misunderstanding on his part too...he thinks that Sharon let Shivam kiss her but she didn't...More than anything, it was the fact that some other guy was that close to her...Yet, he never held that against her cause she was not his...But it did hurt to see her with someone else !!! And that was what that made him realise that there's no forgetting her...He loved her and always will !!! But to hear her question his Love for her today, to say that she was nothing but a Dirty Fantasy for him...That broke him !!! Cause this guy has done everything to prove his love for her again and again !!!
Basically, what I feel is that both their reactions were justified as they both had valid reasons for the way they reacted !!! I hope people get my point of view so that no one bashes Swayam or Sharon...Always remember, that this characters are humans too...Yes, it's a fictional show but the CVs do try and keep the characters as realistic as possible according to the script...And it's up to us to interpret it...Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and so am I...I just wanted to share my opinion with you guys and I would love to read what you guys have to say !!! I'll end this by saying that today, for me, Both Swayam and Sharon were right in their own ways !!!
