Anil has a point, I do believe there is more pressure on an actor/actress who come from a star family. Yes they get their break because of who they are related to but there is pressure on them to live upto the success of their familes.

I truly believe Abhishek is a result of our own obsession with stars...he probably would have been faaar more successful as a character comedy actor! He is not lead star material. But we the audience- Mr Bachchan's son could not be as big as his daddy blah blah kehke uske life kharaab kar dete! 😆 I remember when he debut...there was so much expectation! Big B's son will be the best big star etc etc! Kiyun bhai itna pressure!!! So the Bachchan's also tried harder to make him a lead star when he probably never had it in him!

i don't think people 'hate' it.. i think people in general find narcisstic attitudes a huge turn off!
and the 'we' is certainly divided because i personally would rather see Aryan and Suhana away from the movies (i don't care about others), but i hope SRK being educated himself would value education and keep his kids away from the madness that is bollywood..
as blue-ice ji said... one has nothing to eat, while the other is complaining of too much food on their plates.. i'd replace that with complaining about too many tomatoes on their pizza.. that really puts their sufferings in perspective.. i understand where anil is coming from but rich people often like to complain about little things such as too many birds in their garden!
good points, btw..

Everything comes at a price. With FAME and being in public life there will be HATE.

If the star kids can't take the baggage along with their FAME, they should stay home and not venture in the BAD BAD BOLLYWOOD WORLD.

Not true that star kids get bashed more. Sure, each year there are also many non-star kids that make an entry to Bollywood with zero talent. But after their movies bomb, they are no where to be seen unless they change themselves radically to please the audience's taste.

In contrast, star kids are given more chances. They stick around without feeling the pressure of getting the boot from the industry. That's why Abhishek or Sonam are so chilled out and doesn't give a rat's ass about trying hard. If non-star kids getting repetitive film offers despite them not improving or trying too hard, they will get bashed as well. The difference between star and non-star kids are that 1 of them will still be around regardless of public opinions.

@ Bold ..absolutely right. These kids are born with the proverbial silver spoon.

Every time a AB junior movie releases I feel sad for the producers.

He has a point, but as some one already pointed out, they get repeat chances on and on, because of being a celeb kid
