I agree with all of you that Ved is on the wrong track. How can he even think of killing Dk, maybe it is his nightmare. I can understand Ved's condition too.........poor guy is hurt & does not know how to react has no comforting agent or hand to pacify him but he has to endure the unendurable. We all know that it was his fault to fall in love with D but love is blind & then D also agreed rite, so he is also not all wrong. He must let his hatred and fury loose into the wind, into God's heart, so that it lies in the past where it finally belongs. It would have been so wonderful to see D & Ved's friendship moving along. Guhas, are just going to ruin his character if they turn him all negative. Rather he should continue on the path of forgivness.
If you don't forgive, you don't break the cycle of violence. It just goes on and on until there is no one left standing. In the Philadelphia Museum there is a room of drawings by CY Twombly on Homer's Iliad, his poem about the Trojan War. One is of a huge red cloud, filling most of a canvas that must be six feet tall. Scrawled underneath are the words, "It consumes everything in its path." I see the same thing happening in TD it will shoo away the viewers as well if Ved does not forgive & forget!!
Mink wait's to see DK's intestinal fortitude. Apart from Ved's forgiveness!
