Jagya's extra marital affair or EMA has affected Anandi more. She has to take all the nonsense from both jagya and Gauri. Hope this divorce ends one part of her suffering. But I have a doubt that Jagya is not the time to call it quits. Already Gauri is soaring high in her career and Jagya's career is in stagnat waters. Now he does not have face to ask for money from Anandi. Now he may send notice to his father to claim the property or his part.

I think Jagya is looking for some job to tide over his financial problems. Will gauri allow him to work in an inferior position? Right now their financial condition is very bad. They dont have money even for groceries..

Will Anandi still help?

A married woman's life revolves around her husband. He is like an umbrella protecting her from the vagaries of weather. Once the husband leaves her for another woman, she is exposed to the harshness of the world. Her world collapses.

Fortunately Anandi took a wise decision to stick to the Singhs. She has created an alternate world which revolves around her in laws. Her umbrellla is her in laws now.

One umbrella is taken away from her and one world collapsed but she has another alternative.

How many married women are as lucky as Anandi in this respect?

Another alternative is for the woman to have rich parents who can support her.
The best alternative is for the woman to have qualifications for a job. Good education and training.

Not only Extra marital affair, even widowhood makes women vulnerable.

I don't think Jagya will ask for properties. But even if he goes to court for it, he can get it only if dadisa is ready to give it as the properties are not ancestral but DS has earned it herself and with her sons support. So Jagya won't have natural claim till DS exists as per law(I'm no expert on this but this is what i have known from various sources).

He is a professional, a doctor. I don't understand why they are showing him to be some helpless under-educated guy who can't find any job. Even illiterate ppl get job, earn money and live their life on their own.

Nowadays, it is difficult to get a job for a mere MBBS. And he can do other jobs like many doctors do when they migrate to other countries.

To be a general practitioner, he has to have his own clinic or he should work for another doctor as assistant.

ofcourse it isnt difficult for jagya to get a job with an MBBS degree...he may not be specialized as a surgeon but he can still do all sorts of diagnostic tests ... or general physical checkups and first aid types of things.
it may be a question of him thinking that is beneath his dignity and not wanting to run into other doctors etc. so he feels it is best to avoid the medical scene altogether perhaps and not work at a hospital?
Personally, I think that he has a keen interest in cookery and he may just end up as a professional chef. I feel I have seen him happier whenever he is cooking food. 😆😆 At the hospital he is just careless and edgy and always shouting at parents -- he has a poor bedside manner.

Not at all, any government hospital will hire him -- they have needs for general practitioners in their OPD departments.

Dont bash me. I actually felt sorry for him when he was counting that money in that slumlike chawl.
Yes,yes. It is his own doing. Now the harsh reality will pinch him.
