Ok, first off, coming to this latest episode, lets talk about the kiss... oh the KISS...Firstly, let me make this clear, I have been a Stelena-er and will hopefully always be..😉

But, having said that, I cannot deny that this kiss, was FREAKING AMAZING!!😆 And the whole hand holding scene before that was incredibly cute too! I do believe that Stelena should be endgame, but does that mean I question the relationship that Delena have?? No, not at all...
I completely believe that Damon loves Elena too, and I do know that Elena does, in the very least, care deeply about Damon... so yes, their bond is something special as well...

You know, when TVD started, I always believed I would be pissed off if, and when, Elena made a move on Damon, but you know what? I'm NOT.
This, I think is the magic of the writers of the show... they have carved out the plot so well, that I frankly cannot blame Elena for what she did today.. I just can't.

Yes, my heart really DOES break for Stefan.. He will always be my sweetheart.. the poor guy has gone through hell this season, and ultimately, lost his love, through no fault of his own really... and he is soo sweet even now! I mean he was the one who suggested Elena go on the road trip to figure out her feelings... and the "Be Safe", was simply heartwarming... yes I finally see glimmers of our old, sweet Stefan coming back😊

So, coming back to the question on hand, do I blame Elena for what happened? No. I don't... I think after being pushed away from Stefan constantly this whole season, after having Damon support her throughout, after having seen her love kill people in front of her and being really pushed to the limit, and especially, not to forget, after legitimately having broken up with Stefan (in the third episode), I really can't blame Elena for feeling a certain sense of attraction to Damon...

And for acheiving this INCREDIBLE feat of NOT making me hate either of Damon or Elena, I applaud the writers!👏

I really hope that when the series ends, Elena and Stefan will be endgame, but for anything like that to happen, I get that Elena needs to figure out her feelings for Damon.. so even if she chooses Damon this season finale, yes, my heart will break, but I will continue to enjoy and love the show..
Delena is incredible, really, and I totally understand why people ship them... but I will always hold out hope for my Stelena😳

I ask only one thing of the writers - whoever you decide to bring together finally, please ensure that you keep the characters true to themselves.. I would really hate to see in the future, that Elena cheats on Damon (if she's with him) with Stefan OR vice versa...

Do not make us lose respect for the characters... TV shows nowadays, especially shows like Gossip Girl and 90210 have people literally moving through their group of friends, cheating left and right, calling it "in the heat of the moment". This story is special, so please keep it as beautiful and most importantly, as DIGNIFIED as this... and whether we be Stelena, or Delena, we WILL continue to love it!😊

UPDATE ---

I just realised something that kind of changes my view on the whole kiss thing.. while I still dont blame Elena from a Stefan standpoint, I just realised that Elena kissed someone who literally killed her brother not 6 months ago(in TVD time). Stefan has also killed people, but not Elena's family though.. When Jeremy saw her kiss him, he clearly looked betrayed, or upset in the very least...

I dont know whether TVD will bring up this issue of Damon having actually killed Jeremy in season 2 and now Elena is kissing that very same guy, but I do think they should. I would like to see how that is handled.

Personally however, I do think, that if I was Jeremy, I would really feel betrayed and frankly, insulted, if my sister was going shacking up with someone who had not tried, but actually 'killed' me.

So yeah, I guess that does put a slightly different spin on things...

Amazing Review, i'm a true delena fan and 100% agree with you that the writers must keep the characters loyal to them.

it was past damon has changed now...n jeremy isnt upset bcoz damon killed him once months b4...everyone is over it now!

nyc post...i totally agree & i appreciate that a SE fan can cum up wid sumthing lyk this 👍🏼 coz i've seen SE'rs bashing Damon & Elena both after the kiss! 😕

welll abt the "Damon killed me" thing...i dun think that'll cum up after watching wot Rose said to Jer abt DE

plus in s2 Jer entering Salvatore mansion wid an aim of killing Damon end up being a frnd to Damon! he onli said Damon he came there wid a motive of killin him & after havin a talk wid him he drooped that idea!

so i dun think that'll cum up & it shuldnt!!

I really hope the writers continue to have the characters remain true to themselves... their character development so far has really been commendable!😊

With all due respect to you, the "Damon killed jeremy thing" is brought up because whether you like it or not, it was a major event. It can't be brushed aside lightly, you know. I'm just saying, that everything that happens on TVD must have consequences, and thus me, and I bet a lot of other people bringing this up now, is one of those.

I'm not ranting about it, just bringing up that it is one of those few things that, whether you like it or not, will affect any person's views on something like this. Its only natural.😊

Oh Yeah, I know that Damon has come a long way from that! Im not blaming him or anything like that!

Yeah Im sure no one is mulling over it now or anything, I just thought that it was a valid point to bring up, considering the people involved...
