i agree with you...i personally think that people are losing interest in watching is because they want the MU to be cleared already due to which the TRPs are dropping...they find most of the comedy "filler" because they're not progressing on the MU being cleared, but come on its a 6 month marriage contract...they need to show all of these things to make their relationship smoother and stronger...i think CVs are trying to build that trust and love factor while they are in a MU. that way later on their relationship will be very strong...i dont complain much about that show because i think its going on steady pace...they cant just jump into clearing MU...yea i think we have every right to criticize the show because we are avid viewers...but thats my POV...im just enjoying the right to be surprised at the end :)

So glad to see this positive approach after the tumult of bashing in this forum. Being worried about the pace, the TRPs, the butchering of characters is of course, what makes a die-hard fan. But what we have forgotten is why we love this show, why we keep coming back to it despite our woes and whining. Truth is, it's the first Star Plus drama i have become VERY attached to over the years. For me it was the Hollywood fever, where we get thrill, romance and suspense packed into one. But then i found the desi tadka in the form of IPKKND which is what lacks in the Hollywood soaps. I don't regret following this drama through, and hope i never will.

As far as the TRPs go, the other serials, as you very explicitly pointed out, are family dramas, which leads to more twists and turns. Believe me, the moment IPK turns into a family hoola-hoop, fans are going to turn murderous. There are many international viewers, who can't contribute to TRPs. The youth prefers watching it on the internet while the other dramas are being viewed by aunties and all, gaining them TRPs.

IPK may not have every aspect mixed in one box, but whatever it has, it's best at it.

The ArHi jodi is the highlight, the pillar of the show. They got the SP awards, for both national and international best jodi.

Shyam as the villain has been a propeller of the story. He got the Best Villain Award.

Mamiji is the unique, spicy family member. She got the Favourite Mazedaar Character Award.

We need to believe in the drama.
